When you open it up it says that you have to be logged into a Microsoft account. I will not consider using this ever.More
Does not work
Others have said it already. It opens up by telling you that you have to be logged into a Microsoft account before you and open this app. It also asks for your location which I do not see is a relevant question to ask simply for a recipe book, unless this app is being used to data mine, and once successful accesses email contacts and the like or worse yet, passwords etc. I would highly recommend to approach this app with CAUTION...Caveat EmptorMore
Used to work fine. Now it says I'm not logged in and crashes. I've lost a lot of recipes I had in Chef. If they fix it I would recommend it. It was great for awhile.More
Very Poor Performance
It looked like a great app to have but it doesn't even open. It just gives me a notice claiming that I have to sign into a Microsoft account (even though I am already signing on to it FROM my Microsoft account). This one's going to the recycle bin.More
Couldn't use share feature
I was unable to get the share feature to list Chef as an option, I tried restarting the computer and used the supported websites but still no luck. Looks like it has potential, but as I can't use the feature I was most looking forward to, I won't be using itMore
The best recipe collection app I have found, as I can add recipes from anywhere on the web! So useful. Plus a shopping list tool that allows you to consolidate, and a menu planner. All-in-one! However, you can't organize recipes into custom folders. The default is alphabetical. I prefer by course.More
This app doesn't work with the share charm
Followed the instructions to use the share charm to import recipes but this app can not share. It doesn't do anything it is supposed to do. Great idea...if it worked!!!!More
Used to be great til they abandoned development.
This app used to be fantastic. They promised updates, they promised a windows phone version, none materialized. Now even basic functionality like sharing a recipe list with onenote is broken. Devs have abandoned this project. Too bad.More
Does not let me share recipes after the second time I opened the app. Also it will not open anymore. I was excited, but now im uninstalling seeing it does not work. Trying PEPPERPLATE.More
This app has great potential, but several bugs. I get "something went wrong" error almost half the time I try to add recipes. Editing recipes is awkward; I would suggest that the recipe title pop up in an edit box when adding, so a recipe like "the best meatball" can be edited to Meatball, allowing it to be sorted in "M" instead of "T." I also contacted support regarding the "something went wrong" error and no one contacted me.More
