Best of the bunch for now
The comic book reading app selection is not good, but this one performs well, albeit lacking many options. It fits the panel well and turns pages smoothly which is the important part.More
If there were an option to view as 1 or 2 pages at once, I'd give it 5 stars. Other than that, a very nice app!More
Best Comic app in the Windows store
Simple app, you open a comic and turn the page. great zoom and touch controls. The only downside is no portrait view. Which I have yet to find in a Windows store comic app unfortunately.More
The menu is difficult to work with if you have more than a few files. It just displays the covers of all your books in a single long row, in randomized order. The file names don't seem to matter, so that even books from different series are jumbled together.More
Simple and clean but with glitches
Looks like it's off to a good start. There's not much to say about it since it's basically just a screen with the covers for your comics that you swipe side to side. It's clean though which I like. However, there is an issue when swiping through your comics. The screen glitches pretty badly as you scroll through. It's obviously the app's programming that needs fixing so hopefully it will be improved. Also needs a mechanism to make screen taps to navigate through a comic a lot betterMore
The app is very good it lacks the ability to read in portrait and the ability to organize comics. I use Skydrive to store my comics and I download it from there do it isn't a huge issue for me but it is a little annoying.More
Decent free reader, but.....
It does its job in reading cube files, but its in need of a bookshelf/organizer. Lacks other basic features like fit to screen when viewing etcMore
Need a way to organize them.
Need an organizer. I have 200 gigs of comics and don't like that I can't change the order of them or put them into groups. Add that and I'll bump this to 5 stars. Without it then I probably won't use this much more than the 5 comics I tested it on.More
Decent and fast comic reader
This app reads the .cbr files you have lying around, and renders the pages well and fast. Works well in portrait. Using this app on the Acer W500. Swipe to turn the pages. The 1.01 version adds zoom support. Could use some more functions.More
Great so far
It's working great, but needs the ability to sort by name. I've got a folder that has 4 cbrs that I added (1.cbr, 2.cbr, etc) and now it's displaying in the order 4,2,3,1. Might be the order they downloaded from Skydrive. A semantic zoom feature when on the 'bookshelf' screen would be nice for scrolling through lots of comics. Also, it needs to remember last position. Finally, a live tile that flipped through the covers of added comics would be great.More
