CONTINUE SUPPORT

This app is great on devices running Windows 10. It needs to be re-released or something. Some Lumia phones which run Windows 10 have yet to be supported (can't download this on them). Please re-release. If it works on a single Windows 10 device, it can work on any Windows 10 enabled device. Such is the intention of Windows 10. Or just merge with the Kindle app because right now you can buy some comics on Amazon.com and it can be read on Kindle AND Comixology.

DON'T RETIRE

This app is very much needed! I use my Surface Pro to read comics all the time and if I'm not near wifi your web service does me no good when I could be reading already downloaded comics!

Great service, the app needs some serious work

Comixology as a service is wonderful: great-looking comics, $1 off month-old DCs, etc. They long ago fixed the landscape modes issues I had with early versions, but the user interface is still just absolutely terrible. There's no good way to manage large groups of comics. Come on, please bring the UI up to par with what you do on other tablet operating systems.

Great reading experience, poor navigation

The actual reading experience is the equal of that on iOS or Android, but navigating through your library leaves much to be desired. Provided you can find a title you've purchased on the in-app menu, once it is downloaded there is no logical sorting. Comics are not grouped by series or even alphabetically! Incorporating a browser similar to that in the Android version of the app would be ideal.

Needs work

This app is fairly frustrating to use, it's very difficult to browse, buy, and manage comics. Expect to go to the comixology website to manage your collection, negating some of the potential utility of the app. The reader side of things works fairly well, however, and once you have found something to read it feels very natural and intuitive to use. Just don't expect to download this app and be able to do everything from within it.

Latest update huge improvement

Latest update fixed (for me) the issue with downloads getting stuck and requiring a reinstallation of the app. This is GREAT! The only thing I'd like to see is better catalog management / collection organization. Moving this to 4 stars. Thanks for the update!

Update Seems to Fix One Major Problem

So I got a pleasant surprise when I opened this app today. All the queued comics with broken downloads that had been sitting "downloading" for months started actually downloading. I've read some reviews that say their comics are still stuck or they had to reinstall, but mine just started downloading again right away. They also added a cancel button to the Downloads page which is nice. Downloaded comics still can't be sorted by series, publisher, or anything other than download order (or maybe published/released order idk, it seems to rearrange itself after they are downloaded and the app is restarted), but hopefully this update means they are starting to pay more attention to this app. Store and reader are great, but the app is still way behind the Android app in terms of interface.

So close but so far away

When the app is up and running it is a great platform for reading comics. Having said that it is brutal to access ones collection and have it compiled and read for use. I have had to delete and re-download MY PAID BOOKS way too many times to be acceptable. I want to love this app but it just slaps me in the face.

Needs an Organizer

Comixology is a great app no question about it, but this app has no way to see your comics by series, hero, genre, volume, etc. It just has them jumbled together in the My Comics tab with respect to the cloud and downloaded on the device. If there was a way to organize the comics, even just the downloaded ones, like a bookshelf similar to the Android and iOS apps then this app will easily get a better rating. But like I said great app, it just needs a little tweaking here and there and I would enjoy it a lot more.

AWESOME APP!!

This is an awesome app! I love being able to have my entire collection at my fingertips. The only additional features that I wish that it had are a way to custom sort my titles and issues and a way to cancel downloads especially stalled in-progress downloads. If the app had those additional features, I would have easily given it five stars instead of four.
