Pretty cool to play this again.

I loved this game as a kid. Even better, I loved getting to the end of the game using only one life. Kudos to the design team, testers and developers -- they did a great job keeping the look, feel and experience of the game just as I remembered. Very cool!

take a minute

...to look at the brief tutorial about the modes and keys you can use. It only makes sense that you will have to learn a slightly different method to get a similar result as the arcade game since you won't be playing at the arcade...ugggg.

FUN

This game is a classic and it's just a lot of fun! :D It's so much prettier than your average game as well, which is nice.

Great game

It does work on keyboard. Arrow keys and the space bar for the sword. You need to keep your eye on the screen as the direction is flashed with the key on the side it is to be hit (i.e. if up is the next command, the up arrow will flash at the top of the screen etc. If the sword is used, it flashes in the middle of the screen) I run windows 10, and it works just fine on the keyboard. This has been a great game ever since the day I plunked quarters into the machine at the local arcade. This, along with Space Ace, are the two greatest command driven games I have played. I love the story lines too!

No keyboard or gamepad = no stars

I had high hopes for this, because as a child I spent quite a number of quarters playing at the local pizza shop! What a disappointment to see that you can only use the mouse! The reaction time required to play well doesn't lend itself well to moving the mouse across the screen when you need to click on the sword and then back on the arrows! This would be a perfect recreation if we could use our gamepads/controllers. if not, at the very least the keyboard with a mapped key for the sword action. Please, fix! Until then, save your money people!

Great arcade perfect port, with "tone"!

This is the best port of Dragons Lair I have played, it even has the "tone" sound effect when you make the correct move. All the others I've played did not.

Keyboard Problems

Price seems a little high, but the game actually looks pretty fun, so I would pay it. However, I'm on a computer and BOY AM I GLAD I DID TRIAL FIRST. There doesn't appear to be any keyboard support, even when switched to "keyboard mode" in options! Reactions are too quick to move the mouse across the screen between move and attack! There is also no indicator as to WHAT buttons are used in "keyboard mode." Wish I could rate higher, and I would if I could play it.

Don't buy, no keyboard or gamepad support

I cannot fathom releasing this game with only mouse support. It's a QTE (Quick Time Event) based game, where you want quick reactions. Having no gamepad or keyboard support makes it unplayable.

Great port with lots of options

I love this game and it's a great port. Dragon's Lair has always been my all time favorite since 1983. Tip: change more options by accessing the charm for 'settings' by swiping on the right hand side. For Digital Leisure: please port dragon's lair 2! I'll totally buy that one, too.
