This app is by no means great. However, there should be kind of a "browse mode" available, where you can select text and the links embedded in the pdf are working. As for now, to get this functionality I have to open the pdf in a different browser.

Version 5 is perfect

The ink finally looks really nice! Still a bit pricey. But hey. I use it everyday for every single class. The only problem I have is I am unable to see two or more PDFs at one time. This is kind of a big deal especially since I need to view a solution's manual with a textbook side by side. The tabs are kind of slow. And often times I need to compare them.

Still like it, but some flaws

Overall god, some remarks: 1) Why is it still hard to mark text for example for copying. In most PDFs it just marks whole blocks or pages instead? 2) Since the bar at left edge was established the little dot used for choosing pen etc is useless to me but blocks my view continuously (because it also moves after resizing etc). Please make an option to integrate it into the bar on left. The submenus could be just like now, but instead of circles the different pens and features appear in the bar(or a second bar next to it. 3) need right click function from Windows 8 back. Now it just got useless. Was very convenient to open menu.

Best Markup App I know

This app truly makes my life paperless. I use it to fill out forms when fillable fields are not available. I email these instead of faxing. It makes working in the field easy and saves me hours every day.

Has potential, but needs improvement with stylus

1. To improve stylus performance, the "Continues Mode" has to be OFF. This is just a work around, not a fix. 2. Give us the option to remove floating tools button. I have just what I need on the sidebar. at least have an option to Dock it or hide it. thank you

Indispensable app for students

I use this app exclusively when I read and comment on assigned reading which often comes in PDF format - and if it doesn't I do the conversion myself. I have a Microsoft Surface PC and use the Surface Pen. There are some bugs in the software that are annoying but would never prevent me from using it. I will there were a mode that was completely palm-insensitive. Particularly for the lower windows taskbar in tablet mode - which even when in Drawboard's maximize mode - appears if you slide your palm upward at all. Sometimes that can negate the effect of the pen. But most disconcerting is that sometimes the document suddenly explodes to maximum magnification. I wish I could figure out if it was something that I was doing. The other problem I have is that it doesn't play well with Microsoft OneNote. I can't launch Drawboard from a PDF embedded on a OneNote page and then save the changes I make back to OneNote. I have to copy each document to the desktop first.

Crashes frequently

--Update-- Pleasantly surprised to receive helpful response in one day. I was expecting the "full screen" button on the upper right and foolishly ignored the button on the lower left. Updating to five stars. Potential causes of frequent crashes (I observe after updating to ver 5) include opening >5 documents and/or some PDFs with forms. When the app starts it will try to load last opened documents and will crash immediately. A potential solution would be: remembering the list of documents that the app successfully opened last time; three consecutive crashes will restore that "last successful" list; five consecutive crashes will not attempt to restore last opened docs. I use Another suggestion is to refresh the document when the document changes, such as the PDF is recompiled by LaTeX. Or at least make a "reload" button available.

Wow, perfect for school. Will be using in med school.

Works great. Combines what I use in my paid acrobat and one note. This is perfect. Please do not change anything. Just add new colors and little things. I have now fully switched from everything adobe to now everything Microsoft.
