Ah, No. Don't Bother.
Looked at this for a replacement for Waze and Here Family Apps. Drive On does not work as a driving app. Simple functions like favorites don't work, and interface is way too complex for driving use. What do all the random icons do? I could not figure them out. Why do location markers jump on to screen? I could not figure out the cause. So, useless this Beta app is, and uninstalled it will be.More
Just now download and tested for a while. Appears to be very useful.More
Never gets the signal. I have full speed internet & bars but always tells me no internet connectionMore
Some icona aren't intuitive.. Can't seem to add a location to favorites or "home" unless you know the coordinates (as opposed to having the option to put it in by address).. When it auto recalculates and a turn is coming up two voices speak at the same time. One telling you how to refresh and one talking about the turn coming up.More
Very solid beta with great potential. Other than the robot voices and lack of traffic layer, its very robust for an early version. Try to use more of the metro styling.More
the app works just fine. But it still has glitches that need to be worked out. For example there is a random address that pops up all the time and there is a lot of icons on the side. You van turn these of but they could have made them more stream lined and organized. But once you get everything set up to were you need to go it does it job. It can be a little slow sometimes loading things but I do t mind that. If the icons were more organized and the random address would stop piping up I would give this app a five.More
I have an HTC hd7 with mango and it works fine. Only problems I see are the map always seems to have north up, it has the random addresses pop up on the map blocking the view when scrolling, and speech volume is too low. Very close to being a great app. Hope there's an update soon. Nice u can choose between Bing or google maps. Also has speed and compass.More
the update was a much needed touch but it still has issues. When off the route, the screen flickers. The route navigation still won't orient itself to the users perspective and despite what the screen caps show , the route line appears next to the road instead of on it.More
UI is way too confusing. It needs to be simplified. The app is not intuitive at all. Used my mom as a test who's not at all tech savy and she had no clue even where to begin. I compared that with other apps I have on my iPhone such as Copilot or the TomTom app where she was immediately able to use the apps to get directions. Simplify the UI and make it more intuitive and you've got a great app.More
Good start. Need turns to be more predictive. EDIT: Dropped a star after last update. Functionality took a huge hit. This still has potential, please keep at itMore
