Did not enjoy the experience.

I didn't seem to be able to cut and paste from the app. No way to 'like' nested comments without clicking into the tree, and then I couldn't go back to the parent post. Copying event (and other links) for pasting was a pain. Seemed to have even less control over newsfeed on initial inspection. Won't be using.

**Update allows login now- Won't allow Login Windows 10

*update- problem fixed! Can't find a way to login after it downloads. I'm having the same problem on my other Windows 10 computer. The screen is frozen on the login screen & no matter how many times you click on the screen & login box, no cursor appears & typing doesn't work either.

needs improvement.

The curser is off, I can't figure out why. I don't have this problem with any of my other windows 10 apps on my laptop. It's hard to use it because it's like guessing in the dark about where the curser is selecting. For example, while trying to use the "like" button, specifically for "liking" responses or comments, sometimes I end up selecting the person's profile below the comment I'm trying to like because the curser is misleading as to where it's selecting. Also, I don't see a scroll option, instead the arrow keys on my keyboard function as the scroll option, which in it self is fine I suppose. However, for navigation and usability ease, this is so frustrating for me, I'm uninstalling this app and resorting to using the internet directly to surf facebook again.

Doesn't download, doesn't install stuck in queue

It says installing app indefinitely and even adds the app to your recent downloads but when you open it it is stuck in "starting download". Windows even recognizes that I own It and says I can install it. The only reason I wanted the Facebook app instead of just using a web browser is because Windows 10 will only let you share your photos if you have the app installed. I had to bypass this by going into my OneDrive and finding the pictures I wanted to share, which needless to say is a big inconvenience and the format sucks. Would be so much easier if I could just share my photos directly from the windows photo viewer.

Misclicks everywhere

This and the messenger app are the only two on my Surface Pro 4 that seem to have a calibration issue with my touchpad and touch screen. I'm constantly clicking the wrong place on the screen, activating links I didn't touch, etc.

This version does NOT work with my Yoga 900 laptop DISPLAY running at full NATIVE resolution of 3200 x 1800. This means ~ when I move my mouse and roll over a link or text box, the COORDINATE MAPPING WITH MY SCREEN IS WRONG, and I CANNOT SELECT ANYTHING!! Come on FaceBook, really fix this!!!!!! THE EXACT SAME THING HAPPENS WITH FACEBOOK MESSENGER APP!!

Still missing obvious functions!

Got better by adding feeds FB itself doesn't show but doesn't allow customization of Feeds view. Still No spell checker? No means of sharing a post to a friend's timeline (or to a group). Still no share option on posts in the few custom feed views offered (Family. etc.) Please do some simple updating here!

Login screen is frozen

Windows 10 FB app will not open. The username and password text bars will not accept the cursor and I cannot type in the fields. Even using the tab button on the keyboard is useless. Using FB via browser and hoping for an update soon.
