Version notes

**NOTE ON MESSAGES** Messages should hopefully be better with this release. The messages API for PlayStation is very poor and hard to actually use. Messages appear to be sent correctly, and can be viewed on some devices, but not others. It's very complex and I am trying to get it right. It's hard. Having said that, I have enabled creating new conversations within the messages page. Click the plus button, select some friends, and start chatting. Again, it may work, it may not. These are basically beta features until I can figure out why the PlayStation messages API is so bad. --- * Fix messages not being loaded, being sent out. This was due to the messages id value being too high a value for how it was being parsed by the app. It should now work. Side note on this update: Some reviewers have sent me nasty emails insulting my intelligence for not fixing this issue. Insults don't fix bugs. Bad reviews don't fix bugs. This app is open source and totally free. There are no ads. None of you paid for this. I don't owe anyone anything. This app is made with love because people using Windows should have a nice PS app to use. I work on this app on my own time. I have a full time job. I work on this alone. For everyone else, please enjoy! More updates (hopefully) to come!

Great App!!!

This is a fantastic app for what it does (since Sony is too stuck up to just make one for Windows). For me, it's worked great: from messaging to seeing who's online and what's new! If the developers could somehow figure out a way to link it with your PS4 unit itself that would make it nearly complete. If you could link it to your PS4 they might not need to do this, but it would also be nice to have that functionality of accessing the PS Store and download purchases automatically to your unit. Too much to ask from a 3rd party app... maybe, but if it can be done, I'd like to see it.

Its a good PlayStation App for Windows

Updated Review: The app occasionally stops working and then generates an error message. I simply uninstall it and reinstall the app. Its works all the time. Regardless this is a good app for PlayStation and I am hopeful that the developer will correct the issue. I give it 4 stars until this is corrected permanently.

Can't even log in.

I cannot log into PlayStation through this app. I can on their website and on my PS3 using the exact same credential but I cannot log in with this app. I've tried copy/paste and typing it out. The issue may be with this application not supporting long enough passwords as my pass is 67 characters with spaces, lower case, upper case, and specials. I had the account get stolen once, what can I say? Good luck with that happening again. I've seen videos on this app and I really like the idea and I want to use it. So, I won't give it one star. But I'm only giving it 2 stars until it's updated and I can log in. Please fix this, I really want to use this amazing looking app. The error I get is "There was an Error: The PSN Email Address or Password was incorrect, try again." Dev, if you have any questions or need more specific info please message me. I work in IT, I can help as much as you need. I also understand that this stuff is difficult, thanks for your effort.

Still bugs & glitches

I am unable to change or see my profile pic within the app, the app lags on low end windows phones. There is no push or toast notifications to see when the PSN friends responded to the messages. The UI is very cluttered and not clean, along with not having the ability to voice or video chat with PSN friends. Overall the app itself needs to be fairly rebuilt and optimized for lower end windows phones

Yes!

Thanks to Tim I can have a little mobile connection to my PlayStation world when I'm not at home. Doesn't always work but when it does it has more than I ever expected to find on windows phone.

Its a good *beta!

Nice features at this point. Can view friends online, message although rudimentary and other basic features. Updates as well more features (hopefully) to come as dev has stated. Looking forward to a more polished app. Thanks dev for making a PSN app for windows. Badly needed one!

Worked fine until a few days ago...

**Update** Deleting, restarting my laptop and then reinstalling Fouplay fixed the error I was getting...Thanks Tim :D I had no problems since installing this app in February. A few days ago, immediately after attempting to log in to this app, I started getting a message that would say, "There was an error", and right underneath the error message would be the word, "Constraint". Why is this suddenly happening, and will there be some sort of patch/fix for this, Tim?

New update looks nicer, but it's buggy

I have to refresh things multiple times sometimes to get rid of the error messages. I love the app but it needs a few bugs worked out.
