Campaign save does not save

In campaign mode, I am able to save my progress but as soon as I close the app, or restart my computer and go back into the app its gone. There is no option to load my previous campaign. This is very frustrating because each time that happens I have restart from the very first campaign.

I sure do love this game!

It has everything I've been looking for. A low consumption strategy game for my tablet. Not overly complicated, but has a multitude of units. The campaign is challenging and there are several maps for purchase to use in custom skirmishes. Well priced also! Even the DLC is priced low and balanced such that it isn't required to win. Fun characters too. I'm loving the animations. I'm not sure what all the flak is about Candy (by people who haven't made it far enough to see why she is acting bubbly). No complaints about the Generalisimo? It's 2014 people, get over yourselves. They're just characters in a game.

Loads of fun. Easy to learn, works great, and the Generalissimo interjects a bit of humor as well. I bought the options and don't regret it.

Doesn't scale, and yes you have mouse users

GBWG does not scale at multiple sizes. Disappointing for a game that is mostly about panning and slow turn-by-turn play -- I'd like to see both better mouse support and a scalable viewport so I can look at a 960x1080 viewport without having squished fonts and characters. At full screen, the game is great (4.5/5) but the viewport issue and no mouse support make it 3/5.

Great Game

Lots of play value, can get a little repetitive but just when I thought it was getting too easy, some levels threw me a curve and were pretty challenging.

The Game is Awesome

I've been hoping to find a game like Advanced Wars for years, without having to buy a handheld console- this is it!! It's a fun strategy game.

Great fun as multiplayer game!

Playing against the computer is OK for learning the game, but the AI isn't great. But playing against other people is great fun! Fairly simple game play but not too simple. Games are turn based so you can play at your convenience a few minutes at a time.

Not bad, but need to have better customize options

Not a bad game, but a bit disappointed when I tried to make my troops American. Finally found a Itty Bitty star with bars only after the hammer and sickle logo and even Che! A bit disappointing to see a game that profits on liberty and capitalism but makes it easier to have your flag be communist.

Great mobile game, behind the times -_-

Awesome little, 'advanced wars' (inspired) game with easy to pick up controls, satisfying to master strategies. The build order is balanced, satisfying and polished. The only problem are the bugs. The game crashes half-way through the campaign, and I'm concerned about continued support from Rubicon on Windows RT/8 platforms. (update: the bugs are fixed, but as a game masquerading as silly, it comes off as gratuitous, violent, and fairly sexist. Too clichéd for today)
