Fast. Smooth. Brilliant.

Simply put, this may be the most impressive software/app to play local media and discover new music. Great look, easy to navigate, no crashes. Groove is a sleek new interface, bringing simple back in style.

Unreliable

The app keeps crashing and failing to perform very simple tasks such as pausing and resuming tracks. We expect more from this and it should be better than Windows Media player for heaven sake, or then what is an upgrade for?

Practical and easy

Not a bunch of extra work to just listen to music I've already paid for. It's geared more toward cloud access rather than local. Compared to Windows Media Player or iTunes I like Windows Media Player because of streaming content like radio stations. I'd still rather DO THE WORK of putting together stuff I own than have it in the cloud tied to a pay or free service that may go out of business. Home Networks are practical and not dependent on being constantly connected internet connections.

Love new update but...

Not a big fan of how the album art stays on the live tile when no music is playing... Wouldn't mind if it would just leave it blank when the track doesn't have album art... But for some reason it displays some annoying picture on the songs that don't have album art which stays on my start screen

Like it!

But, I could use a EQ inside, and a easier way to arrange the playlists.

Overall good music player

Great if you have Groove music pass. Use it on Windows 10, Windows phone, and Xbox One. Kinda wish that the different platforms had all the same features, but it's useable throughout.

Good overall

Would like to have a view of Recently Played music when I open the app. UPDATE they added recently played and your groove feature is awesome. Would like easier way to share musical tracks on social media
