Worthy first effort but missing key features

This looks like a nice replacement for Google Maps, but it's missing some important features. For one, after generating directions, there's no way to print them out or send them to yourself by email. Or at least, no obvious way. Also, turn by turn navigation is not here, so no ability to use the tablet as anything more than as a glorified atlas and yellow pages. For a first effort, it's nice. Maybe a premium package is in order, especially as the 2004 versions of Microsoft Streets and Trips had more features, but again, were sold for money.

Stupid, stupid, stupid

It is like pulling teeth to set a starting point other than your present location. Fix that now. I should be able to like in the starting point and then go to a collection to choose a starting point. Fix it. Also, it does not give alternate route, despite my absolute knowledge that there are alternate routes to the destination. Fix that too. I downloaded this on to my Android phone and it seemed to be okay, but on Windows 10, it is a hot mess. I like the collections concept, but it needs to be possible to set up a collection, like all the offices of a business and then quickly and easily setup a route between any two of them, even if that is not where I am at the moment, and it should be me all the alternate routes, otherwise what is the use of it over Google Maps.

This is the best map app out there. Great part about it is that you don't have to have an internet connection. worth it's weight in gold!!

Good for finding a know place

It's fantastic for giving directions to a know address, but it fails to provide good information on hotspots, stores and such. And there's no speed trap information which is also a big downer.

This make me sad :(

Please make UWP, and don't pull up here from windows store. please Use another bridge to make UMP from IOS to build app again please HERE is one reason to bought windows phone, Why, you supported platforms like Android, iOS, even Tizen. but why even the Windows platform is not supported by HERE, whereas many consumers Loyal on this platform, and instead pull all HERE apps from the Windows store. Why does this happen when HERE grew up in the windows platform. HERE Why not support the Windows platform. Think again, to create applications with the bridge islandwood Please!!!

Works better on Windows Phone than Windows 10

This is a great app for planning trips, researching directions and launching related navigation apps. The web version is awesome as is the WP 8.1 version of the app. But in Windows 10, my collections do not sync and on some devices I can't even log into my account. It seems like the app is broken.

Doesn't sync right

It would be a much nicer app if I could add addresses from my computer and have them sync with my phone, which I think is the idea but it doesn't seem to work. In one category I have 9 places on my phone, but 6 on my computer no matter how many times I hit the sync button.

Sign in fails

The account sign in issues persist, at least on Windows 10. On two different machines, the app will not accept my sign in credentials. I can sign in just fine on the Web version. Would rate it highly if I could sign in (based on versions in the past where I was able to log in).

Best Maps

Nokia HERE Maps are the best maps service out there. It's much better than Google maps (Which sucks a lot of data) and very useful when you have no data pack on your device. Thanks Nokia for such a great app !

Best Map Service

Works great on WinPC/WinRT, but no longer syncs old collections to my phone. Keep the PC app, but fix the Phone one!! Or make it universal. Offline maps combined with the navigation offered, as well as being the top mapping service in the world (Navteq) make this my top choice for navigation anytime. Now I don't have to worry about Google selling even more of my information, since I won't need them anymore!
