Has Potential, But Currently Flawed

The game is so close to being great, but has a couple of design problems. 1) The game is designed to be fast paced, but every level has a start delay that constantly messes up your first jump with awkward timing. 2) You're forced to replay sections you've already beaten. Levels are grouped into 5 sections. If you fail any section, you restart from the beginning of the level. 3) The game takes cheap shots at you. In several sections you die instantly unless you make your first jump in under a second. There's no way to know it's coming unless you've played the level before--and if it's on the 5th section, you start the whole level over again. 4) The controls are awkward. I would prefer left stick aim, A to jump, B to speed jump. 5) The pacing is off. Sometimes a "perfect" run isn't possible because of obstacle timings.

Flawed but still wothwhile.

This game isdefinitely worth your time, if you enjoy unique platformers. Has several rough edges, as mentioned in kilcow's review. I find them forgivible because there is way more good then bad. Try the trial first.

Horribly Flawed

While I've tried my best to enjoy this game, itseems like it's actively trying to put me off for a few reasons: - There are way too many ways to die. If you're off by a split second, you die. Be slightly off on where you land, you die. Sometimes I swear that I get killed for no reason. This, coupled with the fact that you have to be almost perfect with your playing or you get punished for it, leaves a very frustrating experience for me. - The controls are unintuitive. On the mobile version, you aim and jump by swiping on the screen, which makes sense. Here, you have a controller between you and the game, which can screw up where you're trying to aim. Overall, I fail to see why this game was ported to consoles. It is much better suited as a mobile game and is definetly not worth the asking price here. If you want this game, get it for mobile. It's a better experience that you can take with you, and costs less money.
