Windows app sucks

I have this app in my iPad and I love it. But in windows there's just too much trouble. First, I thought that both apps would sync perfectly across platforms. When I wanted to sync my maps from iOS to Windows, the only choice I have is OneDrive. I synced it in my iPad and NOTHING. Nothing happens. If I want to edit a map in my pc I have to send me the file through dropbox and then open it, but it is not synced, of course, since the windows app does not support dropbox, you guys tell me why. And when it comes to editing the maps in my pc, it is weird! It is not fast, and it keeps crashing. I thought that I would become more productive and organize my ideas easier with this app, but it just got everything worse. Common guys, I know you can do much better, I love the iPad app, I do not want to feel that I wasted my money on this Windows app.

Best Mind Mapper In The Store

Been looking for simple tool to create and maintain mind maps. Tried a few tools including one note which I like a lot. However if you want to quickly create graphs of your wonderful ideas without having to spend a fortune and have a bunch of features that are frankly a waist of time then get this tool. Ok there are a few things that you should be aware of: 1. The UI is not completely intuitive. 2. Help docs are lacking/missing. 3. Home page needs to be easier to understand. Took me 15 minutes to figure out how to rename a mind map. (Press and hold map then pull down to select it. Options to rename will appear at the bottom) Having said that once you get to know how the UI works it is very easy to create a mind map. It still gets 5 star.

Creates a project-style outline from my spatial Brain Dump doodles. This app is the missing link from my entire productivity process because my brain is constantly firing off synapses, yet I also prefer to organize linearly after scribbling my ideas out over a period of days for integration with Outlook Task Manager & forward planning. BRAVO!!!

Incredibly lack of intuitivity

Windows Version really needs work!! No printing, no Help, exports only to OneDrive available in app, indents one way only, and the Diagram format has no structure. You have to manually manipulate the diagram, is really useless if you want to write a quick outline and then use it unless you do it in the laptop. I am very disappointed...a waste of time indeed.

Pretty good

works great. fairly easy to use. just lacks bi-directional arrows. not sure how to print my concept map after i have made it, so i've just screenshot-ed it and pasted into microsoft word to print.

Good. But no way to share back to windows 8 version...I can download a map I create from OneDrive...but no sync back...I would assume dev is working on this..hopefully!

Great but Takes a Little Work

I love this app! It's great for storyboarding and drawing out ideas for stories and branching paths (I use it as a GM for various tabletop games). My only complaint is that it's hard to use a standard color and shape for items. I can't tie a shape to a color, so I change both of them, which is a little cumbersome. But it's great otherwise! Definitely worth the money!

Good But Not Perfect

Out of all the mind maps I've looked at and tried, this one seemed the best to use in organizing thoughts and ideas, being able to freely move things around and connect them (or disconnect) to different parts. And being an artist who likes to draw comics, it's nice to make a quick sketch in it as well. However, it isn't all that perfect unfortunately. For me, the lack of a tutorial made it a little frustrating in trying to figure out some basic things in Windows 8.1 such as naming your map, deleting, and moving the map to different folders. Not only that, but after finding out, by chance, how to name it (since it doesn't give choice to name right when you make a new one), every time the keyboard came up, the file went straight out of sight so I had to type it in blindly. Then have to go back and do again since I couldn't see it didn't automatically take out "Untitled" for the title. There are things I wish for them to make and improve, but I'm limited in what I can write here.

Great App-read the Tutorial and HELP files first!

Works really well! Take the time to read the Tutorial and HELP material first. Would like more transparent OneDrive sync and more complete tools in Outline mode. Ability to import/export from Xmind, Freemind would be icing on the cake. But a lovely, intuitive app that's loads of fun to use. Works well with Windows Phone version, too!
