I tried to use it, but lagged when trying to get onto Facebook. Lagged when I tried to get onto anything. I have a gaming computer and high speed internet and lagging is not on my end. Horrible and needs to be revamped. :(

Working better than most

Been using Digsby for years and lately it has really been a problem with lost connections and failed log-ins. Looked for an alternative and this seems to be working well. Could use a far better variety of emoticons but that is not critical, just a nice addition.

Functional, but...

On Win10, this app is seriously a rigamarole to use. It triggers maybe a hundred "notifications" in the notification panel, but doesn't flash the taskbar when a message is received. Sometimes when it's been on for more than an hour, it'll make a noise to let you know a new message has arrived, but the chat onscreen won't update until you close the program and open it again. More than once, the font size has changed without me directing it to do so, and it seems like there's no way to prevent it. It does what it's advertised to do, but only just barely. It's lacking a lot of things that older single-purpose messenger programs have had since the dark ages of the internet.

Works... I guess.

This client does work. It allows the user to feed all their chats (AIM, Yahoo, etc) into one handy login and screen, but it lacks some basic functions that other similar programs offer. 1. You cannot customize your font or windows. You can choose between provided themes, or change the font size, but you cannot change the themes, colours, or font face. 2. Functions like 'shift + enter' to break your line of text and create new lines of text do not work. Similarly ctrl + B, ctrl + I, etc, do not work to change the emphasis on your text. Really, if you don't care about these typing functions, and if you like how it looks, it's not a bad program. It DOES WORK! But for me, basic typing functions and some degree of customization are necessary to make a chat client worth using.

Trying to replace Skype is hard

Right now, it's not connecting any of my accounts. So... 1 star until it does. Other than that: No message editing or deletion Sometimes have to manually scroll down to see new messages Uploads private files to a server rather than peer-to-peer transfer :c It's hard to tell where the other person's messages are. There doesn't seem to be any way to call people. Doesn't support /me messages. Sometimes sends IMs to an individual when they're typed into a group chat.

Good app with minor quirks.

Great messaging app for Windows 8/RT, but has the following quirks. -It doesn't integrate into the Windows 8 Sharing charm. It would be nice to instantly share from the charms bar instead of copying and pasting the link. -Missing a "dismiss new messages" option: I receive notifications that I have X new messages, but being that I use multiple devices (including FB chat, for example), all of the "unread" messages are sometimes old messages. The only way to dismiss the messages is by tapping on each contact individually. Other than these issues, it is a nice app with a clean interface.

Love - Organizationally Challenged Psl

Great app...still figuring it all out, I have several email and chat accounts on my Apple devices, so there are several different accounts to go through. That's a personal issue, which will be helpful once I have everything organized. Seems like a very useful and usable tool to have, so far using it has been easy and great, I just have to figure out those things that still confuse me a bit with my own organization, it's great though that it automatically pulled all my information from iCloud for all my accounts, when I get used to this app and using it more it will be an invaluable tool for sure.

very convenient

I like the fact that u can have all your accounts going at the same time. this is very handy to have if you have many accounts....I do think that the speed of the connection could use a little work though. that way messages are received on time.

Really nice and Free Multi-Account Chat App

I have always used the Free version of this App here. And it seams to Work really really Well for Me here. The only thing that I have really noticed is that there is Really no Way to Start a Video chat over Chat thru the App here. You can Chat as You normally would thou. And there is also the Ability to Upload Videos, Pictures, Text Files, Audio Files, and Programs as Well over all of Your Chat Services here. And You can also Invite other People on Top of who ever You are already Chatting with. To Group chats here to also. Especially thru Skype here. It is also really nice to have all of Your most used Chat services. Grouped all Up in One App here as Well also. Really would have like to See View my Webcam and Video Chat in the App here also to as Well. Push Notifications are also really Nice thou to. Seams like about the only thing You can do Right now is. Just the Basic text IM or Chat here right Now. Over most of Your Different Services here. And Upload stuff between People and Cont.

Excellent IM Client

If you are looking for a chat/IM client that links up with every service out there, look no further than IM+. There are some things to get used to in the UI (especially in account management), but it all works very well once you learn your way around the app. It's good enough that I am seriously considering buying the full, ad-free version. IM+ is worth checking out.
