Best RSS Reader Service, App Needs Work

I love Inoreader as a service. I use the web version all the time. The Win10 version is catching up slowly but still not as good as the Android version. The app crashes and resumes a lot out of standby (I believe this is honestly more an issue with whole OS, official Windows apps are just as bad). The built-in browser isn't compatible with many sites (Edge is only slightly better) so I change the setting to open directly in Edge. And lastly I wish the entire UI would rotate. Other than those few things, the app does what it says on the tin.

It's a good start for a really good RSS reader. It unfortunately lacks a lot of the functionality and features available on the website and apps on other mobile platforms. Update: The new live tile option makes this app a nice addition to my news feed.

This does all of the basic feed actions that I want, with two areas for improvement: 1) The biggest piece of functionality I use when reading feeds (always in list view) on my computer is using a keyboard shortcut to mark an item read/unread, and that wasn't present in the mobile website. Having a quick way to do that in the app is nice, but is unreliable enough that I sometimes have to press four or five times to get the menu to pop up. That area needs to be bigger, or more obvious. 2) When I drag down to load a full article, the link to the original website is lost. If I want to read the comments on the article, I have to reload the preview, click the link, and then reload the entire article again, which seems pretty inefficient to me. Despite those things, this is finally an app that I want to use instead of the mobile site!

Very good news reader. TONS of sources! Interface could be prettier but it works. Needs a live/transparent tile option, and the ability to pin "all articles" or certain things. Could be the best with some tweaking.

All it took for Inoreader to woo me away from Feedly and Pocket was a native WP app! Thanks for the support! That said, it's clearly a first try. No transparent tile, let alone a live tile. A long name, when "Inoreader" would have sufficed. Worse, the killer Inoreader feature for me is broadcasting, which isn't offered in the app. I'm holding my last two stars hostage for this feature - my entire IFTTT workflow is dependent upon broadcasting with a custom message from the app! I'll miss Nextgen, Poki, and Phonly in the short term, but I have high hopes for Inoreader! Perhaps they're aware that Windows 10 is days away, and that a high-quality universal app could make loyal users out of hundreds of thousands of Windows users on PCs, tablets, smartphones and XBox!

One of my favorite apps comes to WP. Does it's job for a first release. requests: 1. Transparent tiles 2. Black theme 3. Stay logged in until I logout manually. 4. Multiple account support.

Looks very promising. Already it's pretty functional application and with dedication of Inoreader team I fully expect it to catch up with versions for other platforms.
