Instagram is a simple way to capture and share the world’s moments. Follow your friends and family to see what they’re up to, and discover accounts from all over the world that are sharing things you love. Join the community of over 500 million people and express yourself by sharing all the moments of your day––the highlights and everything in between, too. Use Instagram to: • Post photos and videos you want to keep on your profile grid. Edit them with filters and creative tools, and combine multiple clips into one video. • Share multiple photos and videos (as many as you want!) to your story. Bring them to life with text and drawing tools. They disappear after 24 hours and won't appear on your profile grid or in feed. • Watch stories from the people you follow in a bar at the top of your feed. View them at your own pace. • Discover photos and videos you might like and follow new accounts in the Explore tab. • Send private messages, photos, videos and posts from your feed directly to friends with Instagram Direct. • Instantly share your posts to Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr and other social networks. Keep in mind that other devices running Windows 10 may not support certain features, like the ability to capture and upload photos and videos.

Lacking upload feature unless you're using a webcam

From what I can tell it's basically "Read Only Instagram" if you're using this from a Windows PC. I expected the capability to access the pictures on my hard drive to be used for upload but it appears this isn't the case. Needs that functionality added. Does Microsoft think that only tablet users download these Windows Store apps? Can't even upload pictures from Instagram's website either, pointless!!!!

Stories sharing section has to change.!

The Stories sharing section after taking a pic or vid using the Stories cam on the home page, The section where u choose to either share separately to someone or to all has to change. It should be set to share all ONLY or Default, and sharing it to selected ppl option and or All of them should be on the DM section. This way ppl won't make mistakes sending it to All and selected ppl by DM.. The list makes it likely to select someone u didn't want to send to. Or at least give the option to UNSEND a Direct messaged Story

Doesn't even work

Terrible. The only thing that works is DMs, and even that doesn't work properly as I can't even view pictures or posts shared with me. My feed doesn't show up at all, it just says loading on all the posts. I can't even watch stories or upload pictures, and it's not my WiFi's problem either because my WiFi works perfectly with other devices and the internet on my laptop. Worst app for Instagram, sorry.

Its IG on Windows but the iOS app and limited.

It's awesome that there is finally an Instagram app for Windows. They obviously ported the iOS version over as you can see in the app menus though ... Which is fine, but their should be at least a little effort to tighten the app up and make it work well on Windows.

I like looking at the pictures but sometimes things don't work. I get notifications that only says Instagram and nothing else, when I try to upload an album with multiple images, it doesn't send and everything is blank and says that it's loading.

Too Bad You Can't Upload

Everything works as it does on other devices. It's not great or exactly smooth operating, but it does the job and I get to enjoy seeing what my friends are experiencing. Just one small detail, you can barely post. Sometimes the button is there, most of the time it's not. But you can post stories, which I don't do.

Better than Android app

Ever since they added multi-photo, this is waaaay better than the Android app since it's ad-free. Crashes occasionally, but easy to figure out why it does (long videos, more than 3 photos in multiphoto, etc)

Needs Fixing

Please make it so that I can upload pictures onto my gallery straight from my desktop. I do digital art as a hobby, and it would make it easier for other users as well. I don't want to have to take too long to transfer a picture via microSD card when the developers have already made a PC version
