More than lives up to the legacy of it's name

This game is so good people, falling somewhere between modern decision based adventure and classic puzzle/inventory adventure. True humour, decent pacing (second chapter has a bit much doubling back imho). fun characters and acting. The story builds and grows beautifully over the course of the game.

Nothing wrong with the Downloads

Disregard what, BergerlsTheBest, is stating. He's obviously trying to DL the newest season 4 DL right after it became available this afternoon. The price always changes to free a couple hours after the update. This game has been fabulous so far.

Strong start but didnt hold up

Life long Sierra fan and I had high hopes for this series. Chapter 1-3 were great but then I had the misfortune of playing the cringing, shark jumping disaster known to fans as episode 4. After the bad taste it left with me the final episode felt rushed and forced. Amazing voice actors, great references to the old game, and overall(aside from episode 4) a fun and exciting homage to adventure games.

Great Adventure, Respect to Original

Great throwback to classic adventure gaming! Love the respect paid to original franchise; keeping the canon vs ignoring it. Fans will love catching the nods & easter eggs. I hope this one shows adventure games still have merit & they can continue the adventures of the rest of the royal family.

Perfection

I grew up on King's Quest and was psyched out of my mind to find out they were making a new one after so many years. Fond memories of the entire family gathered around the computer screen, laughing at the commentary and putting our heads together to figure out the puzzles came flooding back. I was 10 then...and now at 31, I got to play with my 11 year old. What. A. BLAST. I was blown away with the entire experience. The games of old were truly honored... with wonderfully (and wholesomely) comedic dialogue, fun puzzles, an intriguing story-line... and killer views that made gameplay even more interesting. On top of that, it was delightful to literally grow as a character.. from youth to middle aged (being a dad was the cutest ever)...all the way to a haggardly old man losing his memory (while transporting us back to pixelated ones from the earliest King's Quest days!). Just brilliant. This game is truly a masterpiece and I am sad it's over. There is nothing else out there like it.

dont do it they will let u down

I have the season pass And collectors addition. It won't let me Download Chapters In the game. It keeps bringing me To the xbox store So I have to buy the chapters By itself. It is a scam and it keeps asking for more money for each chapter. My daughter Has waited for chapter 4 To come out for a long time And now they want me to spend more money On a product that I have already completely purchased.
