Beautifully Made

I love puzzle games but this was so much more. The puzzles were mind boggling and creative but the game art and design were perfect. Its dark and eerie but intriguing and fun. You need to play this ASAP. Very short but definitely memorable.

Great puzzles/horror

The puzzles in LIMBO verry creative and the game is overall pretty dark and gritty. This is a must play fr puzzle platformer lovers.

Hard Game

Some of the puzzles were so difficult, it took the fun out of the game. I was also hoping for a more satisfying ending. But overall, very neat concept.

Looking For Something

I witnessed my sister pass away a couple of years ago. I read what the story was behind this game, and I knew that I had to play it. I have put this game off for years, but now i am finally going to play it. Hopefully there is some positive meaning that I can take from this game while I am playing it.. Maybe it will even help me with the loss of my sister... I just finished downloading it, and I cannot wait to play it! I know it will be great!

Ehh

I had the same view of this game as I did Monochroma; the environment & style is really cool but eventually the lack of a more detailed story & nothing but endless puzzles quickly made me question why I should care about the character I was playing. Limbo's ending was really vague & left to interpretation, making no sense to me while at least Monochroma's ending was fleshed out more with less questions. Three stars for art style & atmosphere but the game just gets boring without any motivation other than to finish it. Knowing what I know now, I'm glad I got it free & I wont be buying Inside, but also, I kind of wish I hadnt wasted my time with Limbo. I just fail to see why it got such acclaim. Not for everyone.

One of the BEST Indies that I've played

Definitely worth checking out. This is one of the best Indies that I've played...puzzles that will make you think, but not too difficult.

Art, immersive setting and stimulating puzzles

LIMBO is the first scroller I've liked since the original release of Out of this World. The artistic effort is clearly evident. Both this expression and the puzzles assume a mature audience, so I never felt patronized. Still playing Inside, which seems to be a bit more story focused than Limbo. Feels more like a great. Find it very difficult to stop playing. Story only gets more intriguing as I've progressed.

A game I wished I played sooner...

Xbox sent me the free download for the game a couple years ago, yet I didn't bother with it until last night. When I finally played it, I realized what I was missing out on. I was missing out on a challenging game filled with puzzles, blood, bone-chilling creatures, a mysterious ending, etc.! Also love the atmosphere that surrounds you and that the game is not too long, not too short! Lesson here is never judge a book (or game) by its cover... you never know what you're missing out on. Also recommend playing with headphones!

Wonderful Hard Puzzles.

I hadn't gave much thought to Puzzle Games before, but since it was free a while ago. It was suprisingly Very Good, The puzzles are pretty hard, a little rage inducing at times (expect to die alot in 1st playthrough), most of the time fun. I like that you only use the left joystick, A, and B Buttons, It gives a break over complicated controls. In the end I enjoyed Limbo immensely and I'm looking forward to playing Inside.
