Linada is an application for remotely controlling your UPnP and DLNA compatible devices. With Linada you can browse your UPnP and DLNA compatible media libraries for music, video and images and play the content on either the phone or on UPnP and DLNA compatible media players. In addition, Linada can play the media stored in the phone on UPnP and DLNA compatible media players. Note, Linada is not a UPnP Media Server or a UPnP Media Renderer. Also, Linada doesn't transcode media items itself. Local media playback is limited to the content formats natively supported by the Windows Phone platform. However, various Media Servers support runtime transcoding and Linada attempts to use such capabilities whenever required and possible.More

Actually works unlike almost every other app like this in the store, UI needs some work, would be nice to long press media and send to device instead of adding to playlist first everytime. Sorting of media could be improved as well.More
This app actually works!!! Able to access my files in my PC n play it on my phone. Also can stream it to my Marantz AV receiver for playing in my home hifi. Only thing now is its long overdue for an update to improve on the user interface to be more friendly. (Note: Much better than the Lumia Play To app which is very limited in its use)More
Found my xbmc install. Only issues that I have with the app are the small icons / fonts and somewhat unintuitive usage. You have to tap something to bring the servers up. When you tap a media item, it adds it to a playlist that you then have to open. It would be nice to include the phone as a source, in the future. None of the other apps have it (Nokia Play To does), so I won't let that count against the app.More
Please chang the volume UI to button up/down with level# for précised volume control. That will make this a absolute 5 stars. ThanksMore
Not only is this app free but it works flawlessly on my HTC 8X. All of my AVI and MP4 videos play great from both my Windows 8 desktop PC and NetGear Stora NAS. The UI of this app could be better and just play things by default instead of adding the item to playlist queue. I'm very thankful for this great free app!!More
Nice start but needs a little work. If it had the ability to play songs without having to add them to a playlist, I'd happily pay for this. Also, can't figure out how to have it play all the songs in my playlist vs playing each one manually.More
Works great. I am able to stream all my videos/pictures/music from my desktop without a problem. UI needs to be a little professional and user friendly.More
Horrible interface. The capability and usability is mediocre at best.More
Use it to control foobar2000 on my computer. Works well. Wish there is a quicker way to go to the remote page though. Like an option to set it as home page or something.More
