Like setting a mouse trap wearing boxing gloves

Suppose if you have a variety of engineering degrees this is very simple. However for the lay individual looking to layout their own ideas it's hit and miss. One must leap through hoops meant for those experienced in the construction minute only privy to the seasoned vets of the industry; not the weekend warrior or project junkie. But it's fun to try out anyway.

TRUELY ENTERTAINING

I started with the 5D Planner, and eventually was able to figure it out. I loved the features, such as people, landscaping, vehicles, pool, etc. When I first tried the Live Interior 3D these features were not there, but the interior features were great. Then there came the Live Home 3D which was a step above all, because of the more advanced features, the ease of creating a floor plan, and the ability to download other interior features. In the beginning the downloading was easy, now I am having a bit of trouble with the downloads. It says it is downloading but it never does. I don't know if it is a problem with the program or my computer. But the downloads I was able to access were great, and adds an extra dimension to my projects. If you are willing to take the time to figure out how to use the program, it will be well worth it. It can be a little confusing to a novice, but it is well worth the effort.

3D view is bad

Everything is good and awesome, except that 3D view which is very complicated and isn't smooth. it should be like the 5D interior design app whose viewing angle is so smooth and good.

Dear Joel, Thanks for the feedback. Actually the program has two types of "3D view": 1) lights and shadows OFF (this is the 3D render similar to what Planner 5D has, it is simple and allows to move fast in 3D, but the image is not photorealistic); 2) lights and shadows ON (3D environment which is more close to photorealistic one, but it may be a bit slower as it takes time to process the image). Switching between two modes is done by clicking little Sun icon on the toolbar (3D view mode). Kind Regards, BeLight Software Support

Professional

Very nice app, just like SketchUp with a Minecraft interface while navigating the environment. Worked well with dial and pen. Tells all Euclidean Geometry specifications of the environment and runs like a true CAD app. I was able to export the houses into a larger SketchUp city. Beautiful App.

Amazing Application - Super Easy Yet Diverse

I got the free Live Interior 3D a few weeks ago to test room layouts for new furniture I got so I wouldn't have to do lots of heavy moving trial-and-error style, yet I became completely immersed in building rooms and houses. They aren't very professional, however my point is that this is fun to use and very easy for beginners like me. I will play around with the free version of Live Home 3D and maybe think about spending the $20 on it. Whether you're a professional architect or beginner without a purpose like me, you will fall in love constructing the buildings of your dreams.

Makes me wanna bash my own head in

Impossible to navigate and change things. Extremely frustrating so don't waste your time with this garbage of an app.

Good day, The program has similar to other CAD programs controls. If you use the keyboard it is recommended to control the movement with the arrow keys and the combination of WASD keys. Also, the buttons Orbit and Look in the toolbar allow to switch from one view mode to another. We would recommend to check the program video tutorials on our website.
