Description

Browse, search, and stream concert recordings from the Live Music Archive (etree) collection. Free. Legal. No ads. No in-app purchase required. (Seriously!) Background audio support for over 140,000 recordings of Grateful Dead, Jack Johnson, John Mayer, Ryan Adams, Furthur, Spin Doctors, Maroon 5, moe., Radiators, and thousands of other trade-friendly artists. (Remember, additional charges may apply depending on connectivity used to acquire data and stream music.) WHAT IS THE LIVE MUSIC ARCHIVE ALL ABOUT? "This audio archive is an online public library of live recordings available for royalty-free, no-cost public downloads. We only host material by trade-friendly artists: those who like the idea of noncommercial distribution of some or all of their live material. Live recordings are a part of our culture and might be lost in 100 years if they're not archived. We think music matters and want to preserve it for future generations." -- Internet Archive FAQ WHY A LLAMA? "After discussions with various community members, a consensus to rename this section of the Internet Archive to the Live Music Archive (from etree.org Archives) has been reached. A nice acronym is LlaMA." -- Jonathan Aizen (2003-01-02) No digital llamas were harmed during the making of this app.

Great concept, huge library. Step aside MixRadio while I do some actual music discovering! Offline feature would be icing on the cake...

This is absolutely a stunningly well-made and useful app for anyone interested in streaming live music from the Live Music Archive. The search functionality is simple to use, and bringing up a desired show is fairly quick. I haven't explored every feature but so far it's an easy five stars. My thanks to the creator and designer for this highly useful music app.

Although the app isn't UWP, it's still a great way to listen to concerts and performances of your favorite artists live
