Use your phone as a real lux meter for free! Lux-o-Meter is the first Windows Phone 8.1 application for measuring real illuminance using the built-in light sensor, now also with the option to use alternative illuminance units: Foot-candle, Phot or Nox. It's now also possible to disable the automatic lock screen. The application is free, but if you like it, you can update it to Pro version, thanks! Because of missing light sensor the application does not work on: Nokia Lumia 530, 630, 635, 636More

It doesn't work. Never leaves the splash screen. I have W10 installed. Other programs are not working also so not quite sure if it is not intended for WM10. Using Built 10.0.14295.1000.More

Some things to change
The average numbers that I see are wrong. 16 lux for a cloudy day its not true at all. I get between 10 000 and 15000 on a moderate cloudy day with some black deep clouds. On a very cloudy day I get 5000 at lowest. So you miss the accuracy by around 5000-15000. The lightbulb light its closer to reality 50000-150000 for a 100W bulb. But its impossible to have only 16 lux outside during even a very clody day. Maybe at dawn would be possible. Also on a sunny day I get 100000. If you are referring to the inside environments them in makes sense, it's almost accurate. You could make an inside and am outside mode.More
Does a light meter need all this access? Server?

Not certain if this is calibrated properly. However, as apples to apples measurements are what I typically make, this is a very good application.More
