Runs great on Win 10

I missed this version and thought it had disappeared forever! After using the laggy Skype for Business, I was so pleased to find this in the app store. This version is snappy, runs like a dream, and adapts very well to a smaller window. No more laggy messages and screenshares! However, I do need to be able to share my own screen, and am disappointed to see that the feature is disabled. Please bring it back! I don't want to go back to Skype for Business!

please support screensharing

Cant understand why the web app supports it and this does not. Also, once I installed this, I lost the ability to join via web app and therefore my screensharing capabilities. please provide an easy way to switch or at least join via webapp

Doesn't work anymore

This app has been retired, which means you can't sign in anymore, it just hangs in the sign-in screen forever. Clicking the help link takes you to a web page that informs you that Lync has been retired and is no longer supported and to use Skype for Business instead. There doesn't seem to be a Skype for Business app though, only a desktop program.

Not as good as web based

For an unknown reason, as a Guest I am unable to present even after I've been given the role of Presenter. When I open the same link using Edge, once promoted I can present, share selected apps or screens, everything that I would expect to be able to do (as I've done for some time now). In the Lync App, once promoted I can see that I am a presented, however the Presentation button continues to be "greyed" out and is unavailable for selection. As such, the client is not fully functional and does not meet the needs of the intended user. Looking forward to this app when it is bug free!! Everything else works fine.

disappointing, not reliable

In the feature list it says: "Stay connected while reducing resource consumption. Lync provides background and connected standby connectivity so you never miss an important conversation. " - this doesn't work for me under Windows 10. Quite disappointing. Reinstalling didn't fix it. Poor support resources for this app. Interface not very friendly for a non-touchscreen PC

Poor implementation of good ideas

I have a Surface (and the benefit of a touch screen). Even so, it's very difficult to have multiple conversations. I also have a difficult time switching between meetings. The "app" opens, but then directs me to another program. Like others, I can't seem to share my screen, and it's difficult to see what people are writing, if you want to look at the screen. Pretty horrible overall.

The quality of this application is beneath Microsoft.

I use this on a Windows 10 computer without any touch screen details. The interface is by far the worst collection of good intentions I have ever seen for a PC application. My office requires it though, so I suppose I will continue to be a loyal user just the same.

Definitely has issues

Quite unprofessionally done. I can send and receive IMs, but the application has issues associated with voice communications. Advice on the application says "From the setting charm select Permissions". Permissions is not listed. This would appear to be not completely tested. UI is childishly set out with huge fonts and icons. I assume that this is due to trying to address touch devices, however the application is for PC. I found it quite a step backwards for Microsoft and am very disappointed.
