Good Features, Need to separate ideas though

I love the mind map functionality and features. It would be even better if there was a feature that allowed multiple mind maps to be created next to each other though.

Too Basic

Great if you only plan to use a couple words per box but once paragraphs worth of text are considered the app fails. Fails by not letting the boxes be resized to accommodate these longer sections and requiring long scrolling to read them. Wasn't worth the time it took to download.

Paid for features can't get them to work no support

After using program I decided to add features & paid for them but could not get them to work F1 settings and all. Uninstalled reinstalled still no go. I sent emails with my receipt still no answer from meydo. I'm very annoyed.

good

it is a good app for making quick mind maps. but it would be better if we could get colors [changing node colours] for free. maybe then i could give it 5 stars.

Easy to use

Well designed. Clean and simple. You can focus on what you want to do, create a mind map. The full upgrade package is $8.99. Well worth it.

It is good for collecting thoughts

The only thing I do not like is how it organizes groups. When I finish a map it usually ends up in the wrong group. When I move it almost everything I did is gone. Really frustrating. I belive if I create the mind map with the name and then move it to the correct group. Once that is completed, I can then finish the mind map. One feature I would like is to be able to add text next to the mind map bubbles. I am not sure if that is against the mind map philosophy but it would help me for how I am using it.

A great way to get your thoughts organized

I cannot recommend this app enough. Just buy the upgrade. Life ain't free and this is the best money you'll spend on an app all year! I've really enjoyed using this app. If you're a visual person, this is a great app to help you organize thoughts and plan things. I went ahead and bought the extra pack to have all the features. Excellent app! Buy the upgrade! Totally worth it! I have a Transformer Book T100 original. Works great on there. They added the ability to change fonts and box shapes if you swipe down from the top, that could be a bit clearer, but man, I'm excited to use the app to really get my thoughts down. My only suggestion/wishful thinking is to get hand written notes in there with a Surface Pen. I don't have one right now, but I would love to get one at some point.

Awesome App - Good Value

Even if you don't buy all the modules, the free version gives you enough functionality to create your maps. This is an absolute imperative app for the visual planner. If I could make one suggestion to the developers: The ability to embed notes and/or attach hyperlinks to individual nodes would be very nice and welcome addition. Thank you for your hard work!

Brainstorming made easier

(January 30, 2015) It's just like what was taught back when I was in 5th grade but without chancing having to waste any paper. Very ideal for those that's planning to become a song writer, a game designer, or even an animator. :-) (Update July 31, 2015) For those of you that cant seem to access Mind Map (M8!), don't worry. Once you go from 7, 8, or 8.1 to Windows 10, you'll be able to use it once again so if you haven't downloaded it yet and worry about possibly losing your files when updating to Windows 10, you have nothing to worry about as your files will be going with you too. A win-win for those that's been using Mind Map for months or so and was just as concerned as I was. This app is Windows 10 compatible. I'm still giving it 5 stars. :-D

A little *too* simple

It's a smooth and functional app but it's a bit too simplistic to warrant spending any money. - Freemium. You get basic functionality for free, but you have to pay to get...well... other basic functionality (colors, printing, file grouping, exports) - You can get into some weird states when tabbing in and out. For instance, I have it open right now and it seems to be stuck in some sort of "hover to select" mode which I didn't know was a thing -- and I can't select anything or escape out of it. I have to back out and reopen the maps to fix it. - Text goes from left to right... forever. It never wraps around and I can't insert returns. - Can't add semantic connectors (i.e. connect to topics with a dotted line to show some sort of relationship like in omnigraffle) - No outline mode. I thought that was standard in real mapping apps. Maybe not. Seems basic. - I like that menus are unobtrusive - Connectors track perfectly with the nodes. I wish other apps did this.
