Great for playing with friends!

This is an awesome game for playing for your friends via pc&smartphone. The graphics are nice and crispy, the framerate is at a good 40-60 fps, and addictive! So if you have some friends that don't have pc, then I reccommend this software!

Low frame cap, and sub par graphics options.

When I loaded up the game it was kinda exiting. Its linked to your Microsoft account, which is a cool feature meaning I could possibly play with my friends platforms and have the game linked to my xbox account along with built in controller compatibility. However upon delving into the options menu, and playing a few minutes of it, I can tell you its not ready for pc. First of all, there is very little to graphics customization. Second, I can only assume the game runs smoothly because the frames are locked at (what I can only guess at because there is no way to access a counter) substantially below 60 frames with no option to turn it up. Third is the fact that pc players are not going to play something in which they have to pay for texture packs or skins when they can just as easily do so for free in the other version. If any developers are reading this review, I implore you to at least put in the minimum amount of graphical tweaking that and 60 fps that is standard on pc.

No Local (LAN) play

Requires WiFi to play multiplayer if they change this I'll give it a 5 star. This game was very useful for the kids when the internet goes out but only if the local play is working. For some reason they decided to not allow you to play local without an internet connection. I'm so disappointed in Microsoft.

Easy as cake?

I really love it- it's exactly like the version I was playing before. The only thing that really bothers me is the that that I love making cake. I mean, it's minor, but it's the little things that add up, right?! Everytime I plug in my milk buckets and make the cake, the buckets completely disappear! Now it's costing 9 iron for me to make each cake because I have to make new buckets for each!! Anyways, it's just a little thing that I'd appreciate getting sorted out, haha. Thanks guys. The horse update was A+, by the way.

Love Minecraft, this version isn't quite there yet

The interface is *terrible* for PC. The not-yet-ported touch interface is so painful to use, it almost makes the game unplayable. Worst offenders: non-remappable keyboard (not everyone uses WASD, ESDF is far superior and I've died because buttons are in the wrong place), hovertext often doesn't show up or flickers and vanishes too quickly, the inventory will randomly shuffle things around, redstone isn't implemented (which wouldn't bother me so much, but that also means that) you can't make pressure plates to close gates behind you, trading with NPCs is broken...there's more. Now, it *certainly* runs better than the Java version, sometimes too well!, but without remappable keys it's a sad imitation. Keys are more important than mods, for me. And faaaaaaaaar more important than MP. What good are other players if I can't even control my character?

The way it should've played all this time

Amazing how such a lightweight game can perform when it's well-coded. The difference between this version and the vanilla Java version is night and day in Microsoft's favor. Exactly the lightning-fast, butter-smooth experience you should expect from a game of 16x16 pixel 1^3m blocks.

Yo!

Everything was going fine. Created a world, made a crafting table, made a pick, got 8 cobble. However, when i dragged the cobble off my hotbar the game crashed and now it wont go past the splash screen. I have no idea what I'm doing wrong lol played for less then 2 minutes. I guess it doesn't like me. If I knew where to fill out a bug report I would *Hint Hint*

It's good, but can be better.

The game is great. I love it. Performance is awesome. BUT WHERE IS THE ABILITY TO PAUSE? I came from the PC version. Whenever I want to pause the game to leave and do something, I hit the escape button. Sometimes I do this in this game without realizing it and when I come back, I have died. I can't work out why it has to be like this. I'm getting used to just quitting to the main menu, but why is this a thing in the first place? It's so annoying.

Epicness love it so good

I love everything about it I don't like the fact that there is no the end dimension otherwise so far,so epic add the wither too actually we want pc feel unless you add a totally different dimension also on this version you cant craft on servers if you craft it will disappear and you will get your materials back
