In advanced mode often you have to guess. Powerups help, but it's still pretty random.

More bugs than a new York city entomologists apartment.

Runs smoothly, but this version of MineSweeper isn't coded to be purely logical. You occasionally will have to guess, especially towards the end of a field. That's why the "powerups" exist. Ruins the puzzle aspect, MineSweeper doesn't need gimmicks.

The game is slow and tedious, a tile responds a second after clicking (Nokia 521), loading times seem unnecessarily long for such a seemingly small and light game, deleting until optimized. Animations not necessary, make the game feel snappier.

I like it, but I noticed that once I got GDR2, it was no longer available to download on Windows Phone 8. Still not downloadable on WP8.1; however, you can still play it if you got it when it was compatible. UPDATE November 17, 2016: For some reason I'm able to download this game on my Lumia 830 running WP8.1 Update 1.

Overall, not bad. But not oriented to someone who's good at the game, or at least the old school version. It's not sensitive enough and far too slow. There's an irritating wait between games, but it also takes a moment to switch between modes or load power ups. None of this is especially long, but the game is based partly on speed, so it matters. I know Microsoft won't fix it, but I wanted to give a head's up to other skilled players.

Sluggish and frustrating

On my 930, the reaction is delayed. Hard to place flags and digg because sometimes the delay on the board is not the same as the delay on the flag. Frustrating waiting to see if my touch was registered.

Frequently am blown up because I will have a number one that is touching two mines.

Why isn't it like minesweeper for the Surface? Its all windows 8 after all. This is not as good as the version for the surface.
