Fantastic couch co-op

This game overall is extremely fun and is meant to be played with a friend or other next to you. What follows, at first, will probably be you and your partner arguing for lack of strategy, and when you're trying to three star every map don't be surprised when it starts. As bad as that may sound, the hectic arguing and intense gameplay of trying not to mess up orders is incredibly frustrating, but FAR MORE satisfying and rewarding. This and it's fantastic co-op is why the game excells and easily becomes worth its asking price, personally, I can't wait for the dlc to release.

Great local multiplayer, only wish they'd add another DLC and/or online multiplayer. Otherwise this is by far my girlfriend and I's favorite game! Be prepared to yell and have a good time!

Great Game

This game is very fun and challenging. Bought it for my wife and we had a blast playing but it ended very quickly. Needs more levels to play.

fun game!!

it is very fun to play with friends, but the story ends quickly and there is not much to do after. wish there was more minigames like endless mode.

Fun, frenetic, frustrating

This game is couch co-op at it's best. It's a race to prepare dishes ordered: managing ingredients while dodging unique obstacles. Coordinated teamwork is necessary to succeed, but when you fail you quickly want to try again to do better. Only downside so far is a lack of online play.

Great Game!!!

I had tons of fun playing this game with my boyfriend! I loved all the different types of levels, the difficulty of them and how the game was pure chaos... We laughed so hard through many of the levels and had such a blast :'D The only thing is, I wish there were more levels, which is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 <3

Couch Co-op Consumption

While the game is not without it's flaws, it provides a quirky, progressive, and social style of gameplay! The only problem lies in the fact that it's simply not as much fun to play on your own. Now I've played through the majority of the game as a single player but that doesn't even begin to disclose the amount of joy you feel linking those second, third, or fourth controllers. The mechanics are fun and easy to learn (albeit hard to master), the levels are unique and provide their own challenging obstacles, and the replayability is unwavering if you're looking for that perfect game to play with your girlfriend or non-gamer friends. A perfectly casual game to rival mobile games with the social treat of couch co-op. *Disclaimer* There will be yelling.

A Multiplayer Wonder

We need more multiplayer games like this. Simple to learn, difficult to cooperate. Yes, this is a cooperative game where you actually have to plan your strategy with your fellow cooks if you want to succeed. Each level is unique, forcing you to come up with a new plan every time. It seems easy at first, but a few misplaced onions and an overcooked burger can send your whole kitchen up in flames quickly. It's utterly hilarious! Overcooked has everything I've looked for in couch multiplayer gaming for a long time. Simple, challenging, has a good teamwork mechanic and a healthy amount of chaos with a theme that fits it nicely. Five stars for the developers on this one; they've earned it. My only cons, an improved framerate and online multiplayer would not go amiss. Most fun with 4 players. If you don't have friends, don't buy this game.
