Too bad for PayPal......

Their service is excellent, no complaints there. PayPal chose to abandon the only good platform in favor of something else. Apps are convenient but in no way necessary to have access to an excellent service. PayPal should remove their app from all platforms. Who needs an app anyway?

And PayPal gives up on Windows...

The app used to be functional enough to get by, but as of the last update PayPal has officially given up on Windows Mobile. I'm silently hoping at the back of my mind that they will come back with an app built for Windows 10 like Bank of America did, but I seriously doubt it. We need more giants like PayPal to build apps for the platform to create the foundation needed to draw more people to the platform, but as we see all too often, we get a mediocre app with no support that ultimately gets pulled from the store. This app is basically a sham now because it's not an app at all and serves no real purpose anymore. Sad day.

Why is this still listed in the store?

As of early September 2016, this sunsetted app is still in the Essential Apps collection. That's a bit ridiculous. Unpublish the thing already!

Wow really 😲?!

PayPal has abandoned Windows Mobile? Well maybe they are building a better app. Or maybe they can see that you don't really need the app anyway. Either way their service is great as always. The one star is for the app being useless and discontinued (without early notice) not their Service which is 5 stars.

Pulling out when the other getting in?

I still don't get it. It is a great app. While Instagram finally makes an official app, Messenger and FB improved, new Twitter app, Chase, then Paypal and Amazon decide to pull out?

App is broken :(

I used this app quite often before updating to Windows 10 but now it just gets an error when I try to log in. Hopefully PayPal will fix this soon. UPDATE: It's been quite some time and the app is still broken. A shame.

Was a great app.

It was a reckless idea to shut down a popular app. It was solid and very useful. Not only can I not use this on my phone but it is not available on my PC either. Wonderful job guys... *slow clap*

I just want to know why?

I gave PayPal 5 stars because they are awesome, I use them for business and personal things. I just switched back to windows phone because it's way better than iPhone and android. I want to know why companies are taking down their apps that are so useful?!

Come on PayPal, get it in gear already.

Hope PayPal gets a UA version out soon. Miss having it right there available. And NO, I don't like using their web site. Prefer a specific app for it.
