We have hopefully stopped it crashing when trying to update the live tile, and will try and gather further information so that Microsoft can fix the bug. - Worked around a Windows 8.1 bug causing a crash after the application has been restored. - Better handling of css styles when converting some notes - Fixed a crash when using Ctrl+Y to display the copy flyout - Put in place a potential work around for a crash that occurs when selecting a book in the library. Digital excellence for Bible and commentary reading!

I really appreciate the way Laridian has improved PocketBible over the years and keeps adding books to help us better understand scripture. Also, the fact that it can operate so well using a variety of devices is great. This is the best Bible app I have ever used.

As good as ever.

I have Pocket Bible installed on 4 devices, Windows phone, nook HD+, Nexus7, and I think it is on my PC. Obviously I like every thing about Pocket Bible. It offers the content I need and navigation through the library is as easy as navigating through the books. God continue to bless the mission of Laridian in spreading Gods word. I forgot to mention the Surface 3 upon which this is being written.

Generally a great app

I've been a PocketBible user for years an various platforms and was happy to see an updated app on my Windows 10 PC. My book library is easily accessible and of course all of my notes and highlights are there. The only issue I have, and this may be more of a design guideline from MS vs this app, but not having the menu always available is a bit of a pain. I hate having to go to the little hamburger menu just to show the "App Commands" menu bars. At least give me a way to pin them open permanently.

Great Bible App

I have been using Pocket Bible on several different devices over many years. I love it! It is easy to use and has inexpensive Bible, Commentaries, Dictionaries, Atlases, etc. I really like the fact that you only buy book once. It is seamless to load the books you own on a phone, tablet or whatever. They make it easy to select just what you want to add. PocketBible is a great app and a great buy!

Plenty utility & potential; still some missing features

Appreciate the app, use it constantly but it is lacking in some features (while capable in others), compared to the PC software version. It would be grand if it had the hover feature that displayed Scripture verses when one holds the mouse pointer over a verse listing. Good syncing between it, the PC software and the iPhone/iPad apps (Thanks, a major feature!). If only Laridian would add a solid Douay-Rheims Bible (preferably with Haydock's commentary); you know, in the spirit of Ecumenism and Christian Unity... Pax Christi Been using PocketBible since my pocket PC and it still has the biggest bang for the buck. May God Bless Laridian's work. (BTW, their support is rather stellar, which is a rarity these days!).

Pastor Ron Chappell

This has come to be my most utilized Bible program. I like the speed and fluidity of the links and the easy read screens. It works well on all of the platforms and operating systems that I use.

Long time fan ...

I've lost track of how many years PocketBible has been my trusted resource for growing in Christ. I love the ability to read a verse in all the many versions of the Bible with just a click, with a dictionary and commentary open at the same time -- greatly speeds my understanding of God's word.

Excellent Bible Reference Library

It's loaded with too many features for me to talk about here. There are tons of books to buy and free content as well. The only feature this seems to be missing that some other versions of PocketBible have is the Journal. Notes are tied to a specific verse Journal entries are not. This can be handy for a topical study or a weekend retreat with a number of speakers. This version of PocketBible is especially great for the Maps available in PocketBible. The old Maps are nice because there are hot links to text on the images but the new Deluxe Bible Maps and Timelines are great because of the vast amount of maps, charts, and text. They look great on a big screen. Well, not just for images but it's great to have room to have different books open of course. Make sure you buy the Advanced Feature set! It's a must though you can at least try PocketBible without it. My Favorite Books: ESV Bible ESV Study Bible HCSB Life Application Bible Deluxe Bible Maps and Timelines
