Pretty but just too many bugs to use

I tried podcast lounge out for a month after purchasing it. I'm running it on wp10 and I found the app almost unusuable. I have 60+ podcasts I subscribe to and among the problems I found were - twice in a month *all* subscriptions were erased/disappeared - Playlists are almost unusuable for a variety of reasons, among which include: -- they take so long to 'build' that they often dont open. -- they report there are no episodes to play when there are - once a playlist was going and the screensaver kicked in, the app would 'crash' or disappear from the list of open apps, while still playing back... requiring you to reopen the app to pause, skip forward, etc - downloads would sometimes occur, sometimes not. Deleting a download which doesn't advance is almost impossible, including unsubscribing from the feed - some subscriptions would consistently fail to download, including well known feeds such as TED, some episodes would randomly download, but inconsistently.

Great, but I dread updates.

This is really the best podcast app for Windows Phone. I used Doggcatcher on Android, and Podcast Lounge seems to be a good WP substitute. I don't find myself missing any features. I do wish WP didn't have such stringent file download size restrictions, though. Also, when Podcast Lounge updates, it often erases all downloaded episodes, which is annoying. It also sometimes erases all favorites when updating, but it has a convenient feature to back up the favorites list, so restoring it is not a big deal.

Needs speed control

This is far and away the best interface for making my podcast feeds and episodes, but I simply cannot use it without variable store payback. Even the built-in podcasts app does that, and it doesn't matter how nice it is to download my casts if I can't control how I actually listen to them.

Best free podcatcher I've found. It even works on my Windows 8 phone. No bugs, stores a playlist, easy to navigate.

Best podcast catcher for Windows 10 Mobile!

Simply the best Podcast catcher and player that I use on a daily basis! Definitely buy this app!

This is everything the native app should be - effortless and reliably functional. It has found every show I've searched by title or host name or URL, a huge improvement over the native app. Highly recommend! Update - I've been using this happily for a couple months now. Today, I had to switch to a new phone, so I tried the backup & restore features. It was so simple, so painless, and worked perfectly the first time. I really couldn't be happier with this app!

Pretty good

I wanted something better than the built-in podcaat app. The default app didn't always download new episodes while not in use. It also has poor playlist management. Podcast Lounge is much better in those areas and is generally more feature rich. The only annoyance now with PL is navigating within the app. I end up hitting the back button a lot more to go "up" levels once I delve in. So, while there is room for improvement, PL is much better than the built-in app.

There seems to be a FS problem on Windows 10 mobile

My favorite podcast app, but after upgraded to Windows 10 mobile, I can no longer download any podcast onto my phone, the downloaded podcasts disappear as I restart the app, maybe there's an FS API problem... hoping to be fixed soon :)

Love it but cant sync

I love the app but now can't sync on my 950. The auto download doesn't work for me.

Platform: Mobile

Astatically pleasing, I love the custom automatically generated playlists, and ability to pin specific feeds and playlists to start. Complaint: Sometimes when I download a show it won't play, if I delete it and try again it usually works though, but that doesn't help when I'm not at Wi-Fi. Features I'd like to see added: 1.) I would like to see the ability to alter playback speeds. Specifically I would want x.5 to x2 done in increments of x.25 or smaller. Often I find x1.25 to be perfect for getting a little faster without too much altering of audio quality. 2. Ability to subscribe to a feed w/out it being a favorite. Thanks!
