Great Hot Shots homage

Great, easy to play golf game. The mechanics are fine, dont listen to the haters. The orange marker is where the ball would drop if there was no change in elevation, wind or anything. The whole point of the game is to figure it out for yourself. What do you want, for the game to play it for you? That being said; this game is very close to Hot Shots Golf. It is easy to learn but impossible to master. I belive the player abillities are mostly balanced as long as you use them right. If your looking for a casual golf game to play, then this is it. Easy enough for a 10 year old to understand but hard enough to get a 30 year old frustrated at a bad drive or putt.

Aside from the slight annoyance caused by the poorly constructed ingame mechanics, this game is exquisitely made. plus its free. dont complain about gettin free things. ungrateful kids

Great game for single player.

No multiplayer drops it to 3 stars. The mp functions included are boring and not a good replacement for real online mp. Still some of the most fun on X1. Characters aren't well balanced. Due to a total lack of good golf on x1, this is your best option.

Mechanics Ruin the Fun

Let me start off by saying that this not the worst game, it really isn't. But is not a great game. First off, the game is beautiful, each and every character has their own personality, as well as powerups which, in my opinion, can be a little one-sided. One thing that I also liked was the "booster pack" feature where by spending in-game credits, you can buy packs that allow you to unlock new clothing, clubs, balls, etc. But after all of this, you head into the game, and that's where it goes all wrong. The mechanics of the game make you frustrated as the orange arrow lets you know where your ball is going to land SUPPOSEDLY. You can never get an accurate shot because God help you, if that line is an inch off the marker. And the worst is putting, with those stupid lines running up and down, left and right, disorienting you, and of course that orange arrrow is off, so it doesn't matter how accurate you are if the ball can't reach. Overall, it's a polished game with nothing else to offer.

Weird Cuz

Solid golf game.

I'd give 4-5 stars for a toggle to turn 'super powers' off and real time multiplayer.

Fun For All

Great game. Would give 5 stars if it had online MP. Hope for a sequel.
