Channels do not open

App and devise are connected with WiFi and log-in was a snap but my subscription channels do not open. Frustrating!

Works as advertised

Finds all Roku devices on my network as it should. Just like the hardware, this app just works. It does not let you play your Roku channels on your phone/tablet/PC it is strictly a remote control. The advantage is the ability to use the keyboard or microphone on your device for searches and entering account information on premium channels instead of the simple remote that comes with the Roku. Well done.

Good intentions

I like the design of the app but wish it worked better. Instead of manually adding photos, I wish it automatically find them on my computer, or just required a designation of the photos directory. I can show photos but for a lot of photos, it turns them sideways. Really irritating! Anyone got a fix for that?

Much improved

This app went through a major overhaul. You still can't play your roku channels on your PC, but the app is much more stable and the UI makes sense.

don't work

I installed it and opened it. Roku app says that network connection is not available and to connect to either WiFi or Ethernet. However, I'm already connected (that is how I installed it). I can't get pass this problem to use app.

Real easy to use

Use it on an old Lumia 920 that I updated to W10M which is now my dedicated remote for my TV, Roku and Yamaha Receiver. Too bad that the "Play on Roku" feature doesn't support OneDrive when playing music. Strange, since there is access for the photos on OneDrive. But this is not a problem, since I can always play it directly through the Miracast dongle.

Good app, keeps getting better on Win10

I installed the Roku app on my Win10 PC a year ago, and it just keeps getting better. I love the display, which is true to both Roku and the newer Windows style. If anything, navigating the channel store is slicker than going through the website, and it's good to have the Play on Roku feature on my PC, since that's where all my purchased music lives. They've also put some extra polish on the UI since the Win10 launch. When I made the big Windows upgrade, the app's remote control panel loaded on my system as its own window as big as the main window instead of the slide-out drawer in the thumbnails. The current verion has the remote and your channels in one window, which is an excellent improvement. It looks as good as it works. Overall, it's very pleasing. The app actually expands what my Roku can do.

Vast improvement

Having used this app for a while it's had a lot of shortcomings that seem, finally to have been addressed in the win 10 version released today. Looking forward to further improvements.
