OMG GREATEST GRAPHICS EVER!

Love what you did with the storyline, as well as the great variety of different foes and characters you had to meet. I couldn't stop playing, as it makes you be like your own warrior (that and the executions). Love what you did, great job! 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

It lacks depth, but makes up for it in style and beauty

You're really just fighting the same few enemies over and over again, in a variety of excessively beautiful environments, with a variety of excessively beautiful choreography. It's an easy game without a ton of gameplay depth, but remains fun all the way through. The choreography and seamless transitions between fighting and executing is an amazing achievement. No fighting game has ever looked better, or even come close.

SO MUCH FUN!!!

I am so glad I gave this game a shot! Honestly it made me a little nervous, being afraid the trailor made it look better than it actually would be... But man is it nice to be wrong sometimes! 😆 This game is not only a lot of fun to play but the graphics are amazing, and I don't just mean the mini movies throughout the whole game either. The gaming controls are simple enough to not be monotonous, Each button does a diff move so you aren't just pushing the same 1 button over and over (where the game does most of the "fun/work" for you). You really feel that you are controlling everything the character does, pulling you into the fighting. Only 2 reasons I didn't give 5 stars. First the campaign isn't nearly long enough, and it's because it IS just so much fun! And second trying to play the solo MP arena is just too hard. Sometimes you can't or just don't want to play co-op and it would be way more enjoyable to have different difficulties or something at least at first. Ryse 2!? VIKINGS!?

Enjoyed the story all in all

The controls were sometimes screwy, but does not change the fact that i loved playing every second of it. It has a great story that leaves you wanting more with good graphics. I would love to see more games like this one!!!👍👍👍👍🙂👍👍👍

Short but good

Only 8 levels but they are all entertaining. Ryse has a gripping story with quality graphics and voice acting. Combat changes throughout the game. Marcus both leads and lone wolfs it at times giving it a unique fell. The combat is also time based rewarding you for perfect hits. My only 2 complaints are enemies are immortal unless hit with certain combos. And the menus just seem oddly designed.

Great game but.....

As stated by most this games storyline is a bit short but very entertaining to say the least, and the multiplayer although a bit repetitive has its wow factor and keeps you coming back for more but...... my issue is when playing multiplayer after a fight my gold is not paid to me, 50/50 chance i get paid. "Xbox store can't be contacted" is the message i get... Also would like to see more fighters gear options (Armor) in next release of Ryse.

Very good, maybe not $60 good at the time but good.

Stunning graphics but very poor frame motion control, this is my only complaint. I cannot play this game for more than an hour, I start getting eye aches & headaches. The motion blur & motion judder are horrible. While moving or panning the camera, it’s almost impossible to focus on anything even on a 50" 240hz Screen w/clear motion. The co-op mode is basically short gladiator arena matches you can do with a friend, but it is the best feature of the game IMO, I wish the campaign was also co-op. Campaign itself is really fun & satisfying. Very linear & short but fun. The fighting style is like shadow of Mordor, or the Arkham series. The bits of slow-motion 300 movie style executions and the Gladiator/Roman paintjob are very cool. The visuals, level of detail, character design, & scenery are very nice. I didn’t buy this when it came out because I didn’t think it was worth it, so I waited, Now it's really worth it if you can stomach the Frame motion blur, but most people don't notice it.
