Update and choose "loud speaker"

Sound level became damn low after this phone automatically installs Skype Preview. Problem fixed after new release update installed manually. Try it you have nothing to lose you are already a Windows Phone user.

Needs fixing.

Add the Video call button back to the contacts instead of clicking ... every time. When making a video call enable the loud speaker right away. No point of having a video call when the person is looking at your ear. Takes too long to establish a phone call even when the phones are next to each other. I do like the new look!😉

Contacts don't sync

I am running Windows 10 Anniversary edition on a T-Mobile Lumia 640 Phone, and also on a Windows tablet. The (People App) Address Book Contacts aren't syncing in the Skype Preview App. Microsoft can't get Skype to work properly on Windows Phone? For real?

Some features missing

Ability to paste images directly into the chat box and send them is missing, which is a useful feature of most programs. The ability to edit previous messages by tapping up button is non-existent, like the full Skype for Desktop. Other than that, I like where the new Skype is going, looks nice and seems to have a quicker startup than the Skype for desktop.

Errores y sugerencias

la Aplicación se cierra cuando abro el skype de escritorio. además debería permitirme ver solo los contactos en línea, establecer algún tipo de filtro para esto, tengo muchos contactos y no puedo saber rápidamente quienes están en línea y quieres no.

Better than it was...

This is certainly better than it used to be. I'm getting crashes fairly regularly, however. But the UI works fine and except for a minor bug here and there, is what we were hoping for since the old "app" got pulled.

Scaling is broken. Picture size reducing enabled again

1. Too small icons, text and controls 2. Sending photos via skype: Automated picture size reducing. It was fixed in latest non-uwa application, but Skype Preview still has it. 3. Include skype into the list of apps in "share" screen. To share files from file manager, photos, videos via skype

Poor. Nice design but 0 to functionality. The most important - the messages! - they dont appear in the chat window when they arrive. You must go backwords and to enter the conversation again. And that procedure is getting slower and slower bigger the conversation becomes. Dont have hopes for fixing - just sayin it for information to other customers

Needs to fix Bluetooth activation

Incoming calls on Skype Preview fail to initialize the Bluetooth connection. I have this problem with all 3 of my cars and all of my wireless headsets. All out going calls activate the Bluetooth connection correctly. Also the emoji selection menu is too small and not user friendly. Last problem is sharing photos to skype from the photo app. I can share a photo directly from that app to most other social apps but not skype. Makes no sense as skype is supposed to be integrated tightly into Windows Mobile.
