I tried to open the app, and set up a profile. It keeps closing, while 'thinking' about my profile, and I CANNOT DELETE/UNSTALL!!! Using a Dell laptop, with Windows 8.

cant create a profile

this app never allowed me to create a profile. like one of the other "raters" each time I tried, it would just disappear. I open again, try to create a profile again, and nothing. I will be deleting.

None of the create account options work. Not Facebook, Google, or manually creating an account. Asks to create an account over and over.

won't launch on my Dell touchscreen laptop running W10

Looks like when I try to either log in with my google account (and allow access) or create a new account, the app just immediately shuts down. Maybe it's running in the background somewhere but I don't see it when I alt-tab and don't have any idea how to call it up, so as far as I'm concerned, looks like it crashed.

Its not bad for free

For me this works well and saves me time from having to load my full version of dragon dictation. Its very basic and that's fine as it loads quickly and seems to get the words right about 90% of the time.

Speech recognition

its accurate to some degree and the voice reply is a good feature. missing the option to use on office applications such as word, etc.

Go home and try it again.

As others have written "take this app back to the drawing board." I realize it was developed by Nuance (I have an old version of Dragon Dictate which was much better) but if this is best Microsoft can come up with, it can forget competing with Apple and Siri. The processing is nothing less than PAINFULLY slow, and unlike Dragon Dictate, you cannot dictate into your document, but into a separate window from which you can copy and paste. The slow processing (far slower than Siri from my iPad using WiFi to the same home network to which my PC is hardwired, tells me that all of the processing is being done someplace else, not on my PC. This is a war stopper. Worse, t we have to give you our name and email, or sign in with Facebook. This makes me extremely uncomfortable. The potential for the corporation to abuse us is huge.

There is no option to dictate to Facebook. lies

Says you can dictate to anything... WRONG... you can dictate to one place and then COPY/PASTE. pretty misleading.
