App is gone from store. What's Up?

I've been setting up a few Windows 8 Systems this holiday weekend only to discover the app has been pulled, it won't even come up in a search. No Information via any of Splashtops communications channels (website, twitter, support forums, etc..). Highly annoying considering that I did actually pay for this app.

Not supported on ARM

If the point of this application is to control a desktop PC via a Windows 8 tablet then the first try is a disappointing FAIL. Last I checked EVERY iPad and Android tablet is ARM based. Also the last time I checked my ARM based Surface RT is a Windows 8 device. My review could easily change by simply adding ARM support for the Win8 client.

Great app but lacking

As always Splashtop does a great job. But I feel the app is lacking in terms of customization in terms of lowering or raising settings for better or worse bandwidth. If it is there it is not easily accessible because I have yet to find it.

Only works inside LAN

The application currently only supports the features of Splashtop 1, without the additional mechanism to discover machines through the internet using Google login. This makes it essentially pointless to connect to a PC, since it can only access machines through the network; at that point you may as well just use Remote Desktop by Microsoft. That said, if you need remote access to a Mac on your LAN, this is probably decent.

Good Metro Start but missing many Desktop Features

I have been using Splashtop for a few years now and I was very excited to see them on the Windows Store. One of my favorite features before was Internet Discovery so you could find your other computers through the Web. Either this feature was blocked since it used a Google account or that feature is missing all together. Defeats the purpose of the app if it only works on a Local Network and not remotely. I would definitely pay for an improved/premium app that offers more.

Big screen of cutoff text

I'm not sure if this app is supposed to do anything? I have used splashtop before and loved it but this app is just a big screen of static text and only half the text (the left side) is actually showing so I have no idea what it says.

Does not work.

Cannot connect to any machine, be it local or internet. Crashes occasionally when trying to do so, other times it just fails and asks you to put in the security code for the PC you're trying to connect to. The IOS clients work fine, and look to be honestly miles ahead in functionality.

Sort of working...

It connects and I can see the desktop...Finally figured out how to minimize the keyboard. Lots of sound and screen corruption, but it is getting better.

Doesn't Work For Me

With Splashtop for Windows 7 or Android, I am able to log in with my gmail address and see the PC's I have access to. Don't see that option at all with this version and thus, it is unusable to me.

Not useful yet

As of this version you cannot login to you spashtop account, you cannot enter your computer's hostname - you must know your computer's IP address, and you cannot login to a splashtop without a security code. Until the first issue, or both of the second issue is resolved, I cannot use this app.
