OK if you want Sweden's weather.

.. otherwise you're out of options. Also, the app is very very slow. 🙁

Waste of time

Good radar mapping but when you focus in on location, the state, city boundaries disappear. You have no idea where you are. Stupid!!!

Maps really need work

The maps in this app have a ton of issues. For one, they don't always load the content...often you only get one layer, and a patchy layer at that (not all tiles load.) Zooming in and out results in very laggy updates to the resolution of the information shown. Animations are extremely choppy, and the tiles do not seem to be cached...so each time through the animation loop, you end up having to wait while tiles download...effectively rendering the animations useless. At first I did not think there was a way to switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit, however I eventually found the option buried in the windows 8 settings area in the charms bar. I really see no reason that the option to switch has to be buried like that, there is MORE than PLENTY of room on the top and bottom swipe bars to put in a button to swap between the two. The rest of the app, while it works, is just a bit too simplistic...the functionality just doesn't seem to beat what already comes with Windows 8.

It's got those simple icons

Whoever made those icons is a great person, you see them everywhere and they still look pretty great. Nice and minimal. This is a really well designed app, it looks nice and has a good array of information. The live tile is beautiful and much more glanceable than the default weather app. If I could change one thing, I'd ask for the backgrounds to not be photographic, but perhaps a solid color or a gradient based on conditions. That would put it on par with similar apps on ios.

Nice app

I love the layout. The only issue I see is even though temperature can be set to Fahrenheit other measurements such as wind speed and precipitation remain in metric. If this is corrected I will not hesitate to buy the app!

Storm

Unfortunately the free app has crashed just few minutes after the install. The first local temperature has showed a difference of 8 degrees with the correct temperature at the same time.

Clean but very basic.

This app doesn't have much going for it. It has very little information and though it does a good job at the forecast some of it's features don't even work. It also has limited location info, I couldn't find the city I live in.

No notification

The layout is great, but unfortunately there's no notification of severe weather conditions and no lock screen display. Otherwise I would consider buying the full version.
