Description

Submerged is a third-person combat-free game in which you explore a mysterious flooded city and discover the beauty of desolation in vast outdoor environments. You take on the role of Miku, a young girl who has brought her wounded brother to the city in their small fishing boat. Navigate the flooded city streets by boat, scale the drowned buildings, and use your telescope to scour the city for the supplies needed to save your dying sibling. As you explore the city at your own pace, you encounter the habitat that flourishes in this colorful place and discover hidden objects that piece together the story of a broken world and a broken family.

Beautiful landscape, relaxing music

I thought the game offers a lot of cool puzzles. The music is nice and the landscape is beautiful. I wish I was a little longer though. For the price it's worth it though.

thats all?

I beat the game in 2 hours and I found most of the collectables. Other than it being extremely short the game was ok. The storyline was great.

Worth it.

A beautiful game with sailing similar to Wind Waker, and a plot reminiscent of Shadow of the Colossus. This is one game that proves violence is NOT a necessity.

Can't all be Dr. Who

This quirky piece of evidence that violence isnt neccessary would likely benefit from a spot of violence, oddly, but it more or less does its job. Its sorta...occasionally obnoxious, but never actually bad, and occasionally surprising but never truly great. It generally lacks any serious tension, but that can be okay 👌 of an afternoon whereupon you've done saved the universe, killed the hive mind, knocked up the princess, built the castle, shot all the grumpy nra aliens, and u just wanna be amused w/o the hyperbolic pressure cooker, to have an adventure w/o the shoes, and feel smart and accomplished w/o actually having to think too hard or accomplish things. Or if theres a kid scrumping in yer lap. I quite like the game, but that's not to say there aren't better examples of the genre, or better NV games, but it has charm, some good ideas, and a small price. Check it out if yer interested in it, as it's almost certainly exactly what you think it is.
