Inconsistent start up drives me crazy!

Great when it works, but it often doesn't or is slow to load on its own, resulting in the trackpad behaving differently and driving me nuts (until the app properly loads, inadvertently touching the trackpad while typing results in all kinds of problems). Need to make this app part of the OS rather than a separate app that has to load before it works!!

Surface Pro 1 - works like it should

I was looking everywhere for a way to reverse the scroll direction on my first gen Surface Pro with Type Cover and this app worked like a charm. I am using Windows 10 and this app installed quickly and all I had to do was hit the toggle for flip the scroll direction. Thank you!

Works, Sort of

This app does not work as well as I hoped. Changing the settings does turn the trackpad off. However, after short time it will be on again, even though it is still set to off.

No Support for Surface Pro 3 TypeCover - HELP!

I leverage the Surface Bluetooth mouse and need something to disable the touch-pad when an external mouse is connected. I've never mastered the touchpad, so at this point its primary function is to frustrate me by making my cursor jump when I'm trying to type. Please, please, PLEASE update this app to support the new TypeCovers or include more robust touchpad settings support in Windows. I'm honestly considering placing some kind of sticky film over the touchpad to avoid all these random cursor jumps.

Incompatible with MS Surface 2 Pro (April 2014)

I have the more traditional keyboard (i.e. "Type Cover") and this application does NOT disable the touchpad. To be editing an Excel document only to find the cursor has moved to an unintended cell --- infuriating!! It's hard to take this device serious as a tablet until this gets fixed. So close, so very close to a sweet solution.....

Does not work with Surface Pro 2 and Type Cover 2

I recently purchased a Surface Pro 2 and Type Cover 2. My system is fully patched, the Type Cover works and is recognized on the Devices and Printers list. However, the Trackpad Settings app simply does not recognize it and tells me that "No trackpad is connected. Attach a Touch Cover or Type Cover." Hopefully a future update will allow it to recognize my configuration as I would like to use its settings to turn the trackpad off under certain circumstances. The app provides no support link for assistance.

No Touch Cover2 / Type Cover 2 support

This app doesn't detect Touch/Type Cover 2. This isn't an issue for Surface 2 owners, but Surface RT owners have no Windows 8/8.1 support for these covers in "System Settings." Microsoft, if you want to sell these covers, you might want to support the millions of Surface tablets already in the wild instead of just the new models.
