It works

There are no settings to adjust. You cannot have it load the oldest first. It doesn't even keep track of episodes you have listened too. But it will load and play podcasts that you click on.

Where are the podcasts?

For an app that exclusively deals in podcasts, this app lacks some of the best and most popular shows. No "This American Life," no "Radiolab," no "Serial." I can get stitcher on my phone with a much greater selection. Pretty disappointing.

Fix the UI

Please fix the UI because the interface looks old and...big (couldn't find the right word for it). Other than that, it's awesome, and the functionality is just right. It would be nice if the app also has a mini-player. Some minor features: (1) allow users to manually sort podcast shows, and (2) an option to back up the data with our Microsoft account

Basic functionality

Functional; however, better management of subscriptions (auto download new episodes, auto delete played episodes), lists/views of new episodes, and a functional offline mode would garner 4 or 5 stars.

Nice, but really inconsistent. Sometimes playback just stops or won't pause in the correct place. I wish it were more reliable, so many more podcasts are available here than in windows store.

Not useful at all

How can an app call itself a podcast app, yet give you no way to access the biggest podcasts of all like This American Life or The Moth. It looks like you are limited to their library, and their library looks like a lower tier.

Solid Podcasting App + plays without an open app!

The features of this app seem easy to use, considering the other podcasting apps I have tried, including Podcasts! And Slap Dash. This is by far the best in terms of library, features and interface. I have longed to use my computer while the podcasts played, though sadly this is not a feature of Podcasts! or of Slap Dash. With these the app must stay on your screen in order for the podcast to continue. This is not the case with The Podcast Source. Not only does it have an easy to use interface (metro style), but the podcast doesn't have to stay open for the app to work. Overall, nice app for playing podcasts

Best new podcast app put there

I like the clean interface. Bugs: 1. Some old episodes are not showing. 2. Could not start another episode while another is playing 3. Snap view not showing text and layout properly Please add podcats and more features with future updates!
