Links don't take you to the articles

There are articles that I would like to read. You click on it and it just gives you a white page with a tab for the next article.

Most links take you to the headline for the article which quickly disappears and is replaced by a"Next Article" banner. Most of the time clicking on Next Article brings up another blank page with another Next article banner. Non-functional app.

Too often, I tap an article and I get a big black bar that says "read next story." I radio the back button and I get "Please connect to the internet." This while any other app I use is connected just fine. It's a nice layout, and I'd like to use it but it's too buggy. Sometimes closing and re-launching it helps, sometimes it doesn't. On a Nokia Lumia 929 for what that's worth.

Constantly asks me to connect to internet when I already am

The app keeps saying that I need to connect to the internet, even when I have a strong connection. If it's not fixed soon, even after all these reports of failures, I'll be cancelling my subscription.

App on MS Surface needs work

I have a Surface3. I also have an Android Smartphone. In terms of content access I prefer the Android system because I can find stories (Seahawks) that don't show up on the PC app. The layout is nicer on the PC app (although changing font size doesn't work) but I can't seem to find a way to access stories (Seahawks) other than those appearing in the current edition. In short, I think the PC app (at least as it works on a Surface) needs some attention.

Best App for New Site Design

I've tried the apps for iOS, Android, Windows and Windows Phone and by far the Windows/Windows Phone versions are the best. In fact, these apps are far superior to trying to read the new site via a web browser. I've only had one instance of the stories not re-freshing and an un-install/re-install seems to have fixed this (note: not acceptable, SeaTimes needs to fix this, but only a minor annoyance). Only other minor complaint is that some times stories appear in the incorrect section. IE: A national news story may appear in the Local news section.

Decent app. Love Seattle Times

Good app. Can definitely use a couple of updates to make it more stable. As always, Seattle Times content is great.

Keeps insisting I need to connect to the internet even when I am clearly online (as verified through other apps). Haven't been able to use it for over a week despite uninstalling and reinstalling. App is pretty useless right now.

Close to a good app but too many technical issues

Very poor quality on both the phone and the PC. Often the app doesn't work: for example an ongoing issue over the past few months is that it claims there isn't an internet connection. And just today it has taken to displaying nothing but a blank screen. They can do better, especially with so many fellow Microsoftees reading it! Update 2 months later: still as bad, and I'll also add that sometimes the stories are blank.
