Great Game

I find myself pausing the game every time a major decision comes up just so I have more time to think it through. These games have a way of getting to you, really making you feel like you're in your character's situation. My only real complaint with this game is that the only decisions that affect the ending are the last two or three at the end of Episode 5. Granted the story overall is different, but it's almost like the first 4 episodes (and most of episode 5) don't matter in the very end; you could just skip all that, make the last few choices and your options wouldn't be changed a bit. I haven't gotten far into A New Frontier (season 3), but from what I understand your choices in this season have an effect on Clem's backstory/flashbacks in that one, so I suppose I'll have to keep playing Season 3 to get a full grasp of the consequences of my choices here. Keep up the great work Telltale!

No Control

It's a good story, but any control you appear to have is an illusion at best. Every choice you make will eventually be rendered meaningless by some event you have no control over. And though it does have multiple endings, only the decisions you make near the end will actually determine what ending you get. And the only thing your ending will decide in the sequel, is which tragic flash back you'll get to see. Any path you take in any of these games will ultimately land you in the same situations every time. And it wouldn't be so upsetting if they didn't keep saying that your choices actually matter. Without that, I would call this a great game. But as it stands, I feel my intelligence is being insulted by its creators.

I really did love this game

I've been playing shooters for the past few months and needed a break. I went in without playing season 1 and still found the game enjoyable. Making decisions and choices made me feel in control and like my choices mattered,it wasn't the case all the time but still i liked it.I Felt connected with this game so 10/10, I want to play S3 but I'll do it when all the episodes are released.

A worthy sequel

This sequel to the award winning original completely fulfilled my appetite for more of the epic journey Clementine faces. This game makes the player feel extremely involved in the story. The voice actors were spot on and performed a stunning job. The story is unpredictable at some points and leave you pondering what might happen next. The only complaints I have is the pause the game takes when loading the next scene, and it seems TellTale went a little overboard with (SPOILER ALERT) the rapid deaths of the cabin group. Over all, its an amazing experience that I would recommend to all of my friends.

*NO SPOILER REVIEW*

this was an awesome game. you can't really compare this to season 1 (other than the technical improvements to the engine) because they are both great in their own ways. this season introduces new characters while revisiting a few old ones. if you completed season 1, the ending for this game will be much more enjoyable so if you can, complete season 1 first. if you can't this is still an enjoyable game. the dlc 400 days is really not important other than getting to know some of small time (except 1) characters. as for michonne standalone dlc i don't believe that factors in at all here. if you have the money or they become free definitely pick up season 1 and 2, you won't regret it. one more thing, this game freezes up for a few seconds occasionally when you make a decision. i believe this is the game engine's fault so you can't really find a permanent fix so beware

Telltale Outdone It Again!

I dont know what to write, outstanding! The end of season one had me in TEARS, this is just the same :)! Highly recommended game. The good thing about this one is that you can actually PLAY Clementine. First off, she gets sepparated from her small group, then survives on her own for a while. She finds anew group and finds out they ran away from a camp and now people are hunting them down. She goes with them far away and finds a house, soon to find a character we thought was "dead" ;). The people that were hunting them down find the group and force them to go back to the camp they were trying to run away from in the first place. The group has to find some way to escape. When they do, after some obsticles, a gang type group opens fire. One of the gang members beg them not to kill him and takes them to supplies in return. When they get there, something TERRIBLE happens to clementine causing the group to split. After that, clementine has 2 make a very sad decision that leaves u in tears :(

Well done.

I don't know if it's as good as the 1st. The 1st season blew me away cause I had never played anything quite like it. So maybe I'm desensitized. Either way the 2nd one is well worth it. It is free for now after all. Even for $20, worth it.

I Want More Seasons

Game was beautifully done brought me to tears a few times Clem is hands down my new favorite character in games being only 14 in season 3 she has so much more potential character development wise. Telltale should keep these series going for a good while.
