Too Slow

Far, far too slow. I started a scan and was able to download the standalone program and have it finish a scan before the app was half way through. Very poor product. Use the standalone application.

WAAYY too slow

Not sure what they were thinking. I've used TreeSize in the past. Even the free version is faster than this. Must be buggy. Don't bother. Go to their site and download the desktop app directly.

Not ready

I installed on an OptiPlex 23 touch, application would never start. After reading other reviews - even if it does start it would take to long to be useful. Fully uninstalled. PS I use TreeSize Pro all the time, and was excited about a W8 app, just disappointing that not much thought or time was put into this.

It takes over 30 min to scan C drive on Surface and then when you're browsing through results it crashes. After restarting the app the results of the previous scan are lost and you have to start from scratch.

Needs to run in the background

On the surface (pun intended) this looks perfect, however in actual use it's not very "useful". The primary reason is that the app has never been able to completely scan my disk. I'm running a surface 32GB and when I let the app run it will either not complete before the OS goes into standby, or (if I keep tapping the screen to keep the OS awake) the app will crash back to the desktop. If it could scan in the background, that should solve this issue and make it very useful.

Very limited functionality

I was initially quite pleased when I saw this available for the Surface, but my excitement quickly changed to disappointment when I found that I can't run it as Administrator. This prevents it from being able to scan many of the folders, thus it does not paint an accurate picture of what is using up drive space. This app needs to be updated before I will use it on RT.

Sudden crashes

I like the desktop version of TreeSize, but the touch version kept crashing during a scan of an external hard drive. I'm going back to TreeSize Freeware.

Poor Design and Bad Performance

This application has a poor interface. It either runs in full screen or in the Windows 8 side screen (about 1/4 of screen). It does not run in ANY other mode (IE half screen/side by side). The Bad Performance is based in it not detecting all files on a drive. My OS drive reports 60GB used. This program only reports 20GB of files. So how do I find the large files?
