Description

Twitter is a free app that lets you connect with people, express yourself, and discover more about the things you love. Hear about breaking news first. See what your favorite celebs, athletes and public figures are chatting about. Catch a glimpse behind-the-scenes at the Oscars, concerts, sporting events, and more. Then join the conversation: Tweet your own text and photos to your followers — and maybe make a few fans along the way. Even send private messages to friends. All in real time, as big (and little) things happen, from anywhere you happen to be. When something happens in the world, it happens on Twitter. Express yourself with text, photos, emoji, emoticons, GIFs and Vines. Get breaking news, instantly, by following hashtags like #breaking and accounts like @BBCBreaking. Go behind the scenes at exclusive events like the VMAs and the World Cup. Use hashtags (like #puppies) to find more Tweets about topics you love. Start a conversation with people who interest you, including celebrities like Katy Perry, Patrick Stewart and astronaut, Chris Hadfield.

Does what I want it to.

Seems fine, I haven't run into any issues like some other posters are saying, I can retweet fine and get notifications. It is an easy client to use. Only thing I would liked changed is that the scale of the app be changeable, as I'm on a surface book and the scale is a bit too large for my liking.

Do you even read these?

No lock screen notifications and doesn't support pinned tweets. This app decent, but I would like to see these come back for Windows 10 Mobile.

Getting better with every update!

It'd be amazing if you added taskbar notification badges for the next!

needs a lot of improvement.

Keep doing what you do. Thank you for supporting Windows 10 as it is. This is the best app ever created for Windows 10 for me.

Install and Uninstall and Reinstall

This app doesn't open in Win 10 it flashes the screen and disappear. Still doesn't work. Easy fix. Just remove it. Look for something else to use since this is not being address to resolve after a couple of months. Pitiful product. I would put 0 stars if I could.

Gave this two out of five stars because...

...the app keeps on crashing and crashing every single time I use it, and when I leave the app open to switch to another app or head back to the Start screen, it suddenly disappears. It gets more and more annoying every single time. Also, there is no option to pin a tweet. Twitter, please fix your app by giving us frequent updates the same way you do with Android and iOS. Your app for Windows 10 Mobile hasn't been updating since 2015.

Just Learning the Ropes...

The GUI for Win10 is quite simple and easy to navigate. I really like Night/Day backlighting capability. Only wish I had more control over MOMENTS to select/re-select categories...really getting tired of reading all those SPORTS/SUPER BOWL tweets/feeds. Where are the SCIENCE, NATURE and HEALTH categories? Thumbs High!!

Twitter will not allow me to open an account. A few years ago I opened an account but did not use it but a few times and never used it again. Evidently someone hacked it and sent multiple tweets about what I don't know. At one point I did see this info and Twitter said I would have to promise not ever do anything like that again, which I had not done in the first place and didn't know it had been done, and they would send me an email allowing me to reestablish an account. I have not received this email and still cannot open an account. Who can I contact?? I see no contact information.

Layout

I find it difficult to navigate through my timeline, it could be though that it's because I'm more comfortable with the iOS version of the Twitter app. I do wish that they had the notifications feature for your favorite people. However, it does get the job done and I'm able to tweet normally so I can't complain too much.
