Twitter is a free app that lets you connect with people, express yourself, and discover more about the things you love. Hear about breaking news first. See what your favorite celebs, athletes and public figures are chatting about. Catch a glimpse behind-the-scenes at the Oscars, concerts, sporting events, and more. Then join the conversation: Tweet your own text and photos to your followers — and maybe make a few fans along the way. Even send private messages to friends. All in real time, as big (and little) things happen, from anywhere you happen to be. When something happens in the world, it happens on Twitter. Express yourself with text, photos, emoji, emoticons, GIFs and Vines. Get breaking news, instantly, by following hashtags like #breaking and accounts like @BBCBreaking. Go behind the scenes at exclusive events like the VMAs and the World Cup. Use hashtags (like #puppies) to find more Tweets about topics you love. Start a conversation with people who interest you, including celebrities like Katy Perry, Patrick Stewart and astronaut, Chris Hadfield.More

It's great! But..
I had twitter going on win 8.1 for a long time and none of the gifs worked, none of the polls worked and vines took you out of the app. It wasn't great, but what did work really well was that every time it loaded, you scrolled up for your new material. Now with win 10, everything works nice but when new tweets load up it puts me all the way at the top, so I have to scroll down to look and find stuff I've seen before and then scroll all the way back up. It may seem trivial, but it seems like a pretty easy fix.More
WP8.1, W10, WP10
WP8.1 Twitter for WP8.1 has always been the most reliable. The screenshots are outdated and reflect a very old version which happened to be the best, in my opinion. I'm not demanding; being able to enable or disable mobile notifications when selected users tweet, DM, auto translation, and syncing with the People hub is fantastic. Thanks for allowing Microsoft to use your service in such a phenomenal way. If it hadn't been integrated into WP8 I wouldn't have created a Twitter account at all. W10 Contrary to the many complaints, I can't think of a single one I have. It's reliable, fast, and everything works. WP10 I'm curious as to how I save pictures but other than that, still the most stable, reliable, etc. DM has and still is best done using this app. Quoting a tweet is just like the website, which is a welcomed addition. Thank you.More
Need better support for lists
The app is not too bad but it is lacking a key feature (or at least if it is there I cannot find it). I use lists a lot. I can find no option to add a person to a list. In all other apps it is a menu option in the menu you get when you click/tap the cog by a persons photo in their profile. The lack of this feature forces me to use the Web page version of Twitter instead. The Mac and iPhone versions of the app do not have this limitation. Please fix the Windows one!More
It came pre-installed with Windows 10
I remove this app right after I remove the Candy Crush game at my first boot into Windows 10 in order to clean it from cr*p app which I don't need. I already delete my Twitter account years ago, so I don't do Twitter no more.More
I think the design for PC is very poor. There is too much empty space that could be re-used. There is a lot of the third party apps that use all space and show much more information at the same time. Also, allow us to save last read tweet position, as it was possible on Twitter for Windows Phone 8. Would be nice to have back the option to swipe across sections, just like on Windows Phone 8 app. Why removing the great features??More
Lists is missing from the main GUI
At first I couldn't find the lists, but then I found them through "me" and then I figured it out that I can pin a list to the start menu. My suggestion is that you should make a visible button in the left side named "lists" just to make it easy in use to find them.More
Very nice and easy to use, however I can't tweet.
Love the easy to use interface. Very easy on the eyes, but I can't tweet at all. I changed my password, uninstalled/reinstalled, signed back in, and still cannot tweet. 😩 I think that's what twitter is for, right, to tweet? This app is great, if you wanna keep up with everyone else but don't want everyone else to keep up with you. Lol! Please, update the app! We all wanna be able to swipe and see videos/picts. ☺ I'll rerate and reinstall once I know it works correctly.More
People application and notifications
Design is great. It's easy to use. Very nice application, but I can't see notifications. To subscribe on someone's tweet notifications. It's not connected with people app. Biggest minus for this app. Please fix these two things. Thank you. Also, it always shows dot near the bell just like if I had a new notification. But when I'm checking, there isn't anything new.More
Fantastic app! So, so much better than the old one. Love that it is a universal app. Keep up the good work! Please add the option to swipe between feed, messages, etc.More
