The update makes it way better! Hopefully, new livetile options come in future updates.

Just don't get it.

Why does Microsoft not take more ownership of app development. Tired of not having decent apps from a company that should be leader in the industry. This app is another disappointment. Crashes constantly. Not useful at all.

Good for reading, not for blogging

This is great for leering me read others' posts, but posting to my own blog is difficult. Not well done.

Fine for viewing blogs - Crashed while composing

Still sucks!!!! Crashes, during writing and editing. Crashes during "saves" and is 100% inexcusable. Take this app out of the marketplace until you have a stable version of the app which won't loose hours of work with a simple crash! It is irresponsible.

Windows 8 provides so much potential for this app, yet all that has been done with it is a viewer. essentially just a major stripped down version that requires me to log in to simply view my own blog. Its sad to see android and iOS have so much more potential in an app. Apps like this are why windows tablets have issue gaining ground in the market

Works, but needs better documentation

This app works and is a decent blogging client, but it is quirky to set up (which isn't documented AT ALL inside the app) and won't work properly until you post something with it. The editor is lacking in decent formatting features. There are several bugs which will crash the app, which is a nightmare for serious bloggers. I'm staying with Windows Live Writer (which is to the point, doesn't require a wordpress.com account, has a feature-rich editor, and simply WORKS) for now.

Pretty but very limited functionality

It looks nice, but it's got some serious issues and is inordinately focused on consumption and not composition or collaboration. The good: When composing, clearly shows where your composition will be posted. Asks you to save if you navigate back from a changed composition (but not if the app suspends and terminates). The bad: Defaults to "freshly pressed" listing all sorts of new stuff that has nothing to do with me. It should default to an admin/dashboard page or a "content I follow" page, not a bunch of irrelevant posts. Exits without warning when I click on "Blogs I follow". No way to change which weblog I'm connected to without signing out and signing in again. It should let you change this on the fly. Very limited composition - can insert and format text and insert links and images, nothing else. Needs more input/sensor integration, such as video recording, location/GPS, etc. So it's a good start, but critical bugs have been ignored.

Nice layout, terrible performance

Simple clean UI, but it crashes whenever I tap "Blogs I follow". Thankfully hasn't crashed when I publish a new post (yet). Also, when tapping a link I created in a new post, the link won't open. Update: Spent 20 minutes adding stuff to an existing post, and just as I was wrapping up, the app flickered for a second and all my edits were gone. Be sure to click the "Update" button a lot while writing.

Missing Pictures

Not very good. The pictures are missing from my blog and so are the comments.

Good look, low on content

Great if you just want to cruise wordpress, but for posting to your blog the limitations are very disappointing.
