Great app

It's easy and when I'm sick I don't have to move. Only making me more lazy. Thanks Microsoft.

Needs to be able to accept other logins

Unfortunately my Xbox account and my Windows 10 account are both on different email addresses. This app doesn't take in account to those who are stuck unable to merge accounts due to Microsofts antiquated user system.

Finally works again :-)

Thanks for fixing this app. Hope it doesn't break again. One last request, please blend it with windows 10. Still looks like a left over windows 8 app. Would even b cool to add controls for this into the actions center?

Great app, I loved to use it. It no longer works, and can't be downloaded. 😭

would be great if I could actually manage my account like it says, so I could change my bio again which I need to like the smart glass on my phone did before that broke

Easy Peasy

this Win8 app is easy to use and control the various Xbox I have running. Much easier to use while waiting for the battery pack to recharge on the controller.

The most and best in all categories

There isn't a more aesthetic and useful app in the Marketplace. A must have for Xbox owners, especially those that have an Xbox music pass.

Unrealized idea... needs more functionality

Just tried with Xbox music... you must have XBL GOLD even if you have a music pass. You must navigate the music app on the Xbox, you can't select music on the device and have it play to the Xbox. Experience is tiresome, and requires the Xbox to be connected to a display... worthless novelty as it stands now.

I'm still not sold on the base proposition of SG

OK, maybe now, SG supports serial LiveID logins. Maybe. OK, maybe sometimes, a touch screen UI is better than a game controller or a traditional remote. Sometimes. But the idea of bombarding me with anecdotal info, during a movie or intense game, divides and diverts my attention away from the main screen. Pausing primary content, while wandering off on side-tracks is the BandAid, but mostly rewards those with short attention spans, poor memory and/or lack of accumulated background wisdom. Bleh.

No way to actually view contents of a playlist

I can play a playlist, and I can advance forward to the next song(s) and go back to the previous one(s) in order but I can't open a playlist and select a song from within and play it. I am limited to just skipping forward or backwards. Annoying. I can also therefore not see which songs in my playlist are not accessible. This should work just like the native ability to play music, open playlists, etc.

Getting Better but still needs improvements

The App is getting better little by little and it is one of the best apps Microsoft has done in a long time to take advantage of other services they have and offer. However they still need to update this app more. I have only used this app a few times, but If you can give me a big reason to use it, than I would use it more. Don't take this review as negative, as I still think it is a great app with a lot of potential.
