worst app ever

It shows I have zero subscriptions. (It has been 24 hours since I paid for my subscription. REALLY dumb!!) It has no way to put a shortcut on my desktop, just on the taskbar. The "Pin to Start" does not work during install. Had to unpin and re-pin after a reboot It is not installed in a standard location so it is "hiding" on my system like a virus. This is UNACCEPTABLE. The controls are more tablet-oriented than for a PC - they auto-hide after every action. The "library" tab is missing, so I can't find any of my ePubs

Doesn't allow me to access my library

I downloaded this app because some of my subscriptions are now going online only, and they directed me here, however, after creating my account and downloading the app, and going through the links provided to me by my subscription providers it appears that Zinio doesn't support these magazines

Lacks basic functionality, an embarrassment

This app can't remember your reading location even on one device, much less across multiple devices, and that functionality is a MUST for any multi-platform reading app. I waste SO much time in this app trying to find the spot where I left off. I can't even scroll through the timeline of thumbnails at the top -- why even put it there if I can't scroll through it? And there's no way to download a magazine edition for offline access, meaning you have to be online to use it (NOT OK) and WAIT for download for EVERY page turn (ridiculously NOT OK), making it slow as molasses to use. Zinio, are you listening to your users? We've been giving you horrible reviews on this junk app for 3+ years, and there's been no improvement (it's gotten worse - now we get ads rather than our library). I'm jumping ship as soon as I find ANY other alternative for my magazines of interest, and you are leaving yourself wide open for a competitor. POTENTIAL USERS - IF YOU HAVE ANY OTHER ALTERNATIVE, STAY AWAY!

I've been a Zinio customer since 2005 and I loved it but this "New" generation is horrible. Very very slow and alien to use.. I wish they could let us install the old windows app as it was much better!

Going backwards

Previous versions gave me access to my library easily. STILL looking for access to my library with the 'APP'. Not nearly as robust as the former desk top version.

After long time use of Zinio on my Android tablet and Win7 Pro desktop, I wanted to try it on my newly acquired Dell Win10 laptop, but I am very disappointed in the Zinio Win10 app. It seems to defy standard Windows key-commands, so it quickly becomes very frustrating to use and it is not at all intuitive to use compared to Win7 and Android. I hope Zinio is working very hard on an update for Win10. In the mean time I will keep using my trusted and working Win7 desktop app.

A step backwards for Zinio - can only read on line

I can read only on line when I try to go back a page all I get are images and lines where text was when reading forward. This began with my Jan 2016 issue. Do you plan to fix this? BTW I am using Windows 10 and Zinio does not appear to be compatible with Windows 10!!!!

Bad app

it doesn't work like it says. can't get to the library, no product updates. The app commands give you slim to none of any kind of options. The old zinio was a lot better at least it work. Too bad I like the magazines that were stupid enough to use it!! Well a month later, still no changes. Too bad the magazines that people enjoy were buffaloed by a product that doesn't do what it says.

Pages flip Backwards Spontaneously

I've been a Zinio member for over 10 years. Having just acquired Windows 10, I installed the Reader. It is buggy to say the least with pages flipping uncontrollably (backwards at that). I can't view my many magazines alphabetically and by date - they only appear to take up a great deal of real estate onscreen in their own order. It feels like the first intro of an app that hasn't been thought out well at all. Extremely disappointed. Works well on Windows 7, Mac & iPad. Here? it is just not worth it.

I want to like this app

I read magazines a lot, so I expected that this app would be perfect for me. It would be good, if it weren't so buggy. You can actually read magazines in this app just fine, but there are two things that prevent me from really using it: 1-the download feature doesn't seem to work, so you have to read online. 2-deleting magazines after you've read them doesn't work-they come back.
