THE 68th ANNUAL TONY AWARDS will be broadcast live from Radio City Music Hall in New York City, Sunday, June 8th on the CBS Television Network. The awards show, which honors theater professionals for distinguished achievement on Broadway, has been a part of the CBS family since 1978. This year marks the 68th anniversary of the TONY Awards, which were first held on April 6, 1947 at the Waldorf Astoria's Grand Ballroom. The ceremonies are presented by Tony Award Productions, which is a joint venture of The Broadway League and the American Theatre Wing, which founded the Tonys in 1947.

  1. Season 1, episode 1

    The show will feature performances by nominee Neil Patrick Harris and the cast of "Hedwig and the Angry Inch," nominee Sutton Foster with the cast of "Violet," Alan Cumming reprising his Tony Award-winning role in a performance from the revival of "Cabaret" and nominee Idina Menzel performing a song from the new musical "If/Then." Tony Award-winning actor Hugh Jackman returns as host.
