Calling on teachers to join us for a free, 60 minute virtual workshop for a hands-on, interactive experience with PowerPoint 2019.

Learn tips for creating and delivering a wow presentation or project, and immediately implement them as you create a presentation from start to finish. Participants will have the knowledge they need to elevate your presentations, project or assignments and be able to present it confidently to your team.

This training is delivered through Microsoft Teams which will allow you to interact directly with the facilitator, ask questions and collaborate with other educators and parents as you continue to improve your remote learning capabilities.

Virtual Workshop for Students - Code your own video game with MakeCode Arcade, ages 8+

In this virtual workshop, students eight and older use block-based coding to create a video game with MakeCode Arcade. Students learn fundamental game and coding concepts like sprites, variables, and coordinates, and use their new skills to create and customize a playable game.  

By the end of the two day workshop, students will have: 

  • Learned and used key game design and coding concepts
  • Coded a playable game
  • Published their game via a URL so they can continue to play and develop it after the camp
