Put Your Thinking Cap On! - Summer STEM with Bit Project

This workshop is hosted in (GMT-08:00) Pacific Time (US & Canada) - and it's Hands On! Welcome to Put Your Thinking Cap On! , a virtual STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) project brought to you by Bit Project and Microsoft Silicon Valley. Todays subject : Biology! What does the brain do? Why is it so important? In this activity students will be introduced to the anatomy and the functions of the brain by drawing their own model. By building their own model, they will learn about the different lobes of the brain and why these lobes are important!

For this activity – you will need the following items at home:

  • 4 sheets of paper
  • Roll of aluminum foil
  • Glue or tape
  • Pencil Coloring materials
  • Scissors
  • Optional: a soccer ball or basketball
